Sirach 11:28
Don’t call anyone happy before their death; people are known through their children.
For it is easy before God in the day of death to reward every one according to his ways.
So then, don't think of anyone's life as happy until it is over, because all the evidence is not in until the person is dead.
Call none happy before death, for how they end, they are known.
Call no one happy before his death, for it is by his end that a person becomes known for what he is.
Call no one happy before his death; by how he ends, a person becomes known.
Call no one happy before his death; by how he ends, a person becomes known.
Call no one happy before his death; by how he ends, a person becomes known.
Call no one happy before his death; by how he ends, a person becomes known.
Call no one happy before his death; a man will be known through his children.
Call no one happy before his death; a man will be known through his children.
Praise thou not any man before his death; for why a man is known in (or by) his sons.
