Romans 2:13

(For it is not the hearers of the law who are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified;
For it is not those who merely hear the Law [as it is read aloud] who are just or righteous before God, but it is those who [actually] obey the Law who will be justified [pronounced free of the guilt of sin and declared acceptable to Him].
For it is not merely hearing the Law [read] that makes one righteous before God, but it is the doers of the Law who will be held guiltless and acquitted and justified.
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
For the hearers of the law are not righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified.
It isn’t the ones who hear the Law who are righteous in God’s eyes. It is the ones who do what the Law says who will be treated as righteous.
For it is not merely the hearers of Torah whom God considers righteous; rather, it is the doers of what Torah says who will be made righteous in God’s sight.
God accepts those who obey his Law, but not those who simply hear it.
(for not the hearers of the law [are] just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
For not the hearers of law are righteous before God, but the doers of law will be declared-righteous.
For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
Hearing the law does not make people right with God. They will be right before him only if they always do what the law says.
Who does God accept as right with himself? It is those people who obey his Law. It is not the people who only know his Law but do not obey them.
For it is not those who hear the law who will be righteous in God’s sight, but those who do the law who will be declared righteous.
For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified.
For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified.
Hearing the law does not make people ·right with [righteous/justified before] God. It is those who obey the law who will be ·right with [justified/declared righteous before] him.
(For the hearers of the Law are not righteous before God: but the doers of the Law shall be justified.
People who merely listen to the laws in Moses’ Teachings don’t have God’s approval. Rather, people who do what those laws demand will have God’s approval.
For it is not by hearing the Law that people are put right with God, but by doing what the Law commands.
For the hearers of the law are not righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be declared righteous.
Hearing the law does not make people right with God. The law makes people right with God only if they obey what the law says.
For it is not merely those who hear the Law who are righteous in God’s sight. No, it is those who follow the Law, who will be justified.
All who have sinned without knowledge of the Law will die without reference to the Law; and all who have sinned knowing the Law shall be judged according to the Law. It is not familiarity with the Law that justifies a man in the sight of God, but obedience to it.
(for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified;
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
(for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
For it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified.
For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be declared righteous.
He will punish sin wherever it is found. He will punish the heathen when they sin, even though they never had God’s written laws, for down in their hearts they know right from wrong. God’s laws are written within them; their own conscience accuses them, or sometimes excuses them. And God will punish the Jews for sinning because they have his written laws but don’t obey them. They know what is right but don’t do it. After all, salvation is not given to those who know what to do, unless they do it.
If you sin without knowing what you’re doing, God takes that into account. But if you sin knowing full well what you’re doing, that’s a different story entirely. Merely hearing God’s law is a waste of your time if you don’t do what he commands. Doing, not hearing, is what makes the difference with God.
for the hearers of the law are not justified before God, but the doers of the law will be justified.
for it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before · God, but the doers of the law who will be declared righteous.
People who merely listen to the laws in Moses’ Teachings don’t have God’s approval. Rather, people who do what those laws demand will have God’s approval.
For it is not those who hear the law who are just in the sight of God; rather, those who observe the law will be justified.
for it is not the hearers of the Law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the Law who will be justified.
for it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified.
For it is not those who hear the Law who are justified by God; rather, it is those who observe the Law who will be justified.
Hearing the law does not make people right with God. It is those who obey the law who will be right with him.
For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous before God, but those who do the law will be declared righteous.
Hearing the law does not make a person right with God. People are considered to be right with God only when they obey the law.
For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.
For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.
(for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified;
Just to hear the Law does not make a man right with God. The man right with God is the one who obeys the Law.
For merely listening to the law doesn’t make us right with God. It is obeying the law that makes us right in his sight.
For before God they are not righteous who hear the law, but the doers of the law will be justified.
For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but the doers of the law who will be justified.
For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but the doers of the law who will be justified.
For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but the doers of the law who will be justified.
For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous in God’s sight but the doers of the law who will be justified.
After all, it isn’t those who hear the law who are in the right before God. It’s those who do the law who will be declared to be in the right!
For it is not the Shomei HaTorah (hearers of the Law of Moshe Rabbeinu) who are the tzaddikim who are accounted to be YITZDAK IM HASHEM ("justified with G-d" IYOV 25:4). It is the Shomrei HaTorah (the keepers of the Torah) who will be counted to be YITZDAK IM HASHEM.
(For the hearers of the Law are not righteous before God. But the doers of the Law shall be justified.
For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified.
For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified.
For it is not the hearers of Torah who are righteous before God; rather, it is the doers of Torah who will be justified.
Here’s my point: just because a person hears the law read or recited does not mean he is right before the one True God; it is following the law that makes one right, not just hearing it.
For it isn’t the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified
(God does not say people are good because they have heard the law. But people who obey the law will be called good people.
For the hearers of the law be not just with God, but the doers of the law shall be made just.
for not the hearers of the law [are] righteous before God, but the doers of the law shall be declared righteous: --
