They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the winepress as high as horses’ bridles for a distance of about ·one hundred eighty miles [L one thousand six hundred stadia].
Then the angel swung his sickle upon the earth and gathered the harvest of the earth’s vineyard, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. The grapes were trodden outside the city, and out of the winepress flowed blood for two hundred miles in a stream as high as the horses’ bridles.
The Angel swung his sickle, harvested earth’s vintage, and heaved it into the winepress, the giant winepress of God’s wrath. The winepress was outside the City. As the vintage was trodden, blood poured from the winepress as high as a horse’s bridle, a river of blood for two hundred miles.
And the GAT hagedolah was trodden on outside the Ir (City) and dahm (blood) came out from the GAT up to the bridles of the susim (horses) for about two hundred miles. [YESHAYAH 63:3; YOEL 4:13 [3:13]; BERESHIS 49:11; DEVARIM 32:14]
And the lake was trodden without the city, and the blood went out of the lake till to the horses' bridles [and blood went out of the lake unto the bridles of horses], by furlongs a thousand and six hundred.
