Psalm 17:12
like a lion that is greedy for his prey, even as a young lion lurking in secret places.
He is like a lion that is greedy of his prey, And as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
He is like a lion eager to tear [his prey], And like a young lion lurking in hiding places.
Like a lion greedy and eager to tear his prey, and as a young lion lurking in hidden places.
Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
They are like a lion eager to tear, like a young lion lurking in ambush.
They are like a lion eager to rip its prey; they are like a strong young lion lying in wait.
They are like lions eager to tear the prey, like young lions crouching in ambush.
They are like hungry lions hunting for food, or like young lions hiding in ambush.
He is like a lion that is greedy of its prey, and as a young lion lurking in secret places.
And he made darkness his covert, his pavilion round about him: dark waters in the clouds of the air.
Like hungry lions, they want to kill and eat. Like young lions, they hide, ready to attack.
They are like hungry lions. They want to tear me into pieces. They are hiding like young lions. They are ready to jump out and catch me!
He is like a lion that is eager to tear, like a young lion crouching in its hiding place.
He is like a lion eager to tear, as a young lion lurking in ambush.
He is like a lion eager to tear, as a young lion lurking in ambush.
They are like lions ready to ·kill [tear up prey]; like lions, they sit in ·hiding [ambush; cover].
Like as a lion that is greedy of prey, and as it were a Lion’s whelp lurking in secret places.
Each one of them is like a lion eager to tear ⌞its prey⌟ apart and like a young lion crouching in hiding places.
They are like lions, waiting for me, wanting to tear me to pieces.
They are like a lion eager to tear, like a young lion lurking in ambush.
They are like lions ready to kill. Like lions, they sit in hiding.
Like a lion they desire to rip us to pieces, like a young lion waiting in ambush.

Their hearts are hard as nails, their mouths blast hot air. They are after me, nipping my heels, determined to bring me down, Lions ready to rip me apart, young lions poised to pounce. Up, God: beard them! break them! By your sword, free me from their clutches; Barehanded, God, break these mortals, these flat-earth people who can’t think beyond today. I’d like to see their bellies swollen with famine food, The weeds they’ve sown harvested and baked into famine bread, With second helpings for their children and crusts for their babies to chew on.

They, as a lion made ready to his prey, have taken me; and as the whelp of a lion dwelling in hid places. (They be ready to catch me, like a lion catcheth its prey; and like the cub of a lion living in hidden places.)
