Psalm 48:13
mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces, that ye may tell it to the generation that follows.

Examine its defenses closely; tour its fortifications so that you may tell future generations:
Walk through Tziyon, go all around it; count how many towers it has.
We will see its strong walls and visit each fortress. Then you can say to future generations,

And man when he was in honour did not understand; he is compared to senseless beasts, and is become like to them.
Look at the tall walls, and see the palaces. Then you can tell the next generation about them.

Examine its embankments. Walk through its palaces. Then you can tell the next generation,
take notice of the walls and examine the fortresses, so that you may tell the next generation:

Notice how strong they are. Look at the palaces. Then you will be able to tell your children about them.

Note her walls and tour her palaces so that you can tell your children.
Circle Zion, take her measure, count her fortress peaks, Gaze long at her sloping bulwark, climb her citadel heights— Then you can tell the next generation detail by detail the story of God, Our God forever, who guides us till the end of time.

Think carefully about its outer walls. Just look at how safe it is! Then you can tell its people that God keeps them safe.

Give thought to her walls. Go through her beautiful houses where kings live. And tell about it to the children-to-come.
Take note of the fortified walls, and tour all the citadels, that you may describe them to future generations.

Set ye your hearts in the virtue of him; and part ye the houses of him, that ye tell out in another generation. (Put ye its strongholds, or its fortresses, in your hearts; and think ye about its palaces, so that ye can tell about it to the next generation.)
Set your heart to her bulwark, Consider her high places, So that ye recount to a later generation,
