Psalm 44:2
how Thou didst drive out the heathen with Thy hand, and planted them; how Thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
Thou didst drive out the nations with thy hand; But them thou didst plant: Thou didst afflict the peoples; But them thou didst spread abroad.
You drove out the [pagan] nations with Your own hand; Then you planted and established them (Israel); [It was by Your power that] You uprooted the [pagan] peoples, Then You spread them abroad.
You drove out the nations with Your hand and it was Your power that gave [Israel] a home by rooting out the [heathen] peoples, but [Israel] You spread out.
How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
You, by your own hand, removed all the nations, but you planted our ancestors. You crushed all the peoples, but you set our ancestors free.
God, we heard it with our ears; our fathers told us about it — a deed which you did in their days, back in days of old.
You chased off the nations by causing them trouble with your powerful arm. Then you let our ancestors take over their land.
Thou, by thy hand, didst dispossess the nations, but them thou didst plant; thou didst afflict the peoples, but them didst thou cause to spread out.
My heart hath uttered a good word I speak my works to the king; My tongue is the pen of a scrivener that writeth swiftly.
With your great power you took this land from other people, and you gave it to us. You crushed those foreigners and forced them to leave this land.

By your power you forced nations out of the land, but you planted our ancestors there. You shattered many groups of people, but you set our ancestors free.
how you yourself drove out the heathen and established your people in their land; how you punished the other nations and caused your own to prosper.
to plant them, You drove out the nations with Your hand; to settle them, You crushed the peoples.
With your power you forced the nations out of the land. You placed our ancestors here. You destroyed those other nations. But you made our ancestors grow strong.
With your hand you expelled the nations and established our ancestors. You afflicted nations and cast them out.
How thou didst drive out the Gentiles with thy hand and plant them in their place; how thou didst afflict the peoples and cast them out.

O God, we have heard of the glorious miracles you did in the days of long ago. Our forefathers have told us how you drove the heathen nations from this land and gave it all to us, spreading Israel from one end of the country to the other.
A Psalm of the Sons of Korah We’ve been hearing about this, God, all our lives. Our fathers told us the stories their fathers told them, How single-handedly you weeded out the godless from the fields and planted us, How you sent those people packing but gave us a fresh start. We didn’t fight for this land; we didn’t work for it—it was a gift! You gave it, smiling as you gave it, delighting as you gave it.

You drove out the nations with your hand, but you planted them. You afflicted the peoples, but you spread them abroad.
Thine hand lost heathen men, and thou plantedest them (Thy hand destroyed the heathen/Thy power drove out the heathen, and thou plantedest our forefathers there); thou tormentedest (the) peoples, and castedest them out.
Thou, [with] Thy hand, nations hast dispossessed. And Thou dost plant them. Thou afflictest peoples, and sendest them away.
