Psalm 41:6
And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity; his heart gathereth iniquity to itself, and when he goeth out, he telleth it.
And if he come to see me, he speaketh falsehood; His heart gathereth iniquity to itself: When he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
And when one comes to see me, he speaks empty words, While his heart gathers malicious gossip [against me]; When he goes away, he tells it [everywhere].
And when one comes to see me, he speaks falsehood and empty words, while his heart gathers mischievous gossip [against me]; when he goes away, he tells it abroad.
And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
Whenever they come to visit, they say nothing of value. Their hearts collect evil gossip; once they leave, they tell it to everybody.
My enemies say the worst about me: “When will he die and his name disappear?”
When visitors come, all they ever bring are worthless words, and when they leave, they spread gossip.
And if one come to see [me], he speaketh falsehood; his heart gathereth wickedness to itself: he goeth abroad, he telleth [it].
Why art thou sad, O my soul? and why dost thou trouble me? Hope in God, for I will still give praise to him: the salvation of my countenance,
If they come to see me, they don’t say what they are really thinking. They come to gather a little gossip and then go to spread their rumors.

Those who come to see me are not sincere; they gather bad news about me and then go out and tell it everywhere.
When one of them comes to visit, he speaks deceitfully; he stores up evil in his heart; he goes out and talks.
Some people come to see me. But they lie. They just come to get bad news. Then they go and gossip.
The one who comes to visit me speaks lies; in his heart he thinks slanderous things about me and goes around spreading them.

They act so friendly when they come to visit me while I am sick; but all the time they hate me and are glad that I am lying there upon my bed of pain. And when they leave, they laugh and mock.
I said, “God, be gracious! Put me together again— my sins have torn me to pieces.” My enemies are wishing the worst for me; they make bets on what day I will die. If someone comes to see me, he mouths empty platitudes, All the while gathering gossip about me to entertain the street-corner crowd. These “friends” who hate me whisper slanders all over town. They form committees to plan misery for me.
And if people come to see me, they speak insincerely; their heart gathers iniquity to itself, when they go outside, they tell it.

As they sit with me under my roof, their well wishes are empty lies. They listen to my story and then turn it around to tell their own version on the street.

And if he entered for to see (me), he spake vain things (to me); his heart gathered wickedness to himself. He went withoutforth; and spake to the same thing/and spake to the same end. (And when he entered to see me, he spoke to me of empty, or useless, things; and his heart gathered wickedness unto itself. And then he went withoutforth; and spoke the same thing everywhere he went.)
And if he came to see -- vanity he speaketh, His heart gathereth iniquity to itself, He goeth out -- at the street he speaketh.
