The Lord is my Light and my Salvation—whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?
A Psalm of David. The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Of David. The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom should I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— whom should I dread?
The Lord is my light and my salvation. Should I fear anyone? The Lord is a fortress protecting my life. Should I be frightened of anything?
By David: Adonai is my light and salvation; whom do I need to fear? Adonai is the stronghold of my life; of whom should I be afraid?
(By David.) You, Lord, are the light that keeps me safe. I am not afraid of anyone. You protect me, and I have no fears.
[A Psalm] of David. Jehovah is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
A psalm for David himself. Unto thee will I cry, O Lord: O my God, be not thou silent to me: lest thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
A song of David. Lord, you are my Light and my Savior, so why should I be afraid of anyone? The Lord is where my life is safe, so I will be afraid of no one!
This is a song that David wrote. The Lord gives me light in my life and he makes me safe. So I am not afraid of anyone! The Lord takes care of my life. Nobody can make me afraid!

Of David. The Lord is my light [18:28; 43:3; Is. 9:2; John 1:4, 9; 8:12; 1 John 1:5] and ·the one who saves me [my salvation]. ·So why should I fear anyone [L Whom should I fear]? The Lord ·protects [L is the stronghold/refuge of] my life. ·So why [L Of whom] should I be afraid?
1 David maketh this Psalm being delivered from great perils, as appeareth by the praises and thanksgiving annexed: 6 Wherein we may see the constant faith of David against the assaults of all his enemies. 7 And also the end wherefore he desireth to live and to be delivered, only to worship God in his Congregation. A Psalm of David. The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?

The Lord is my light and my salvation; I will fear no one. The Lord protects me from all danger; I will never be afraid.

Of David. The Lord is my light and the one who saves me. So why should I fear anyone? The Lord protects my life. So why should I be afraid?

The Lord is my light and my salvation; he protects me from danger—whom shall I fear?
Light, space, zest— that’s God! So, with him on my side I’m fearless, afraid of no one and nothing.

By David. Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Who is there to fear? Yahweh is my life’s fortress. Who is there to be afraid of?

The holy prayer of David. The Lord is my lightening, and mine health; whom shall I dread? The Lord is defender of my life; for whom shall I tremble [for whom shall I quake]?
