Proverbs 24:33
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep—
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep;
“Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest [and daydream],”
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep—
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
“A little sleep, a little slumber, a little lying down with folded arms”—
“I’ll just lie here a bit, rest a little longer, just fold my hands for a little more sleep” —
Sleep a little. Doze a little. Fold your hands and twiddle your thumbs.
—A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest!
Thou wilt sleep a little, said I, thou wilt slumber a little, thou wilt fold thy hands a little to rest:
a little sleep, a little rest, folding your arms, and taking a nap—
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest,
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest,
·You sleep a little; you take a nap [“A little sleep, a little slumber”]. ·You fold your hands and [L “A little folding of the arms to…”] lie down to rest [6:10].
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep.
“Just a little sleep, just a little slumber, just a little nap.”
Go ahead and take your nap; go ahead and sleep. Fold your hands and rest awhile,
a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the arms to rest,
You sleep a little; you take a nap. You fold your hands and rest.
“A little sleep! A little slumber! A little folding of my hands to rest!”
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands for rest,
Then, as I looked, I learned this lesson: “A little extra sleep, A little more slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest”
One day I walked by the field of an old lazybones, and then passed the vineyard of a lout; They were overgrown with weeds, thick with thistles, all the fences broken down. I took a long look and pondered what I saw; the fields preached me a sermon and I listened: “A nap here, a nap there, a day off here, a day off there, sit back, take it easy—do you know what comes next? Just this: You can look forward to a dirt-poor life, with poverty as your permanent houseguest!”
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep,
“Just a little sleep, just a little slumber, just a little nap.”
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the arms to rest—
“A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest,”
You sleep a little; you take a nap. You fold your hands and lie down to rest.
“A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to relax,
You might sleep a little or take a little nap. You might even fold your hands and rest.
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest—
a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest –
A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest;
“A little sleep, a little rest, a little folding of the hands to rest,”
A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest—
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest,
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest,
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest,
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest,
Yet a little shenot (slumber), a little sleep, a little folding of the yadayim to rest;
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest,
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest,
“A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep,”
“A little sleep, a little rest, a few more minutes, a nice little nap.”
a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep;
How long sleepest thou, slow man? when shalt thou rise from sleep? Soothly thou shalt sleep a little, thou shalt nap a little, thou shalt join together the hands a little, to take rest; (How long sleepest thou, O lazy man? when shalt thou rise from sleep? Truly thou shalt sleep a little, thou shalt nap a little, and then thou shalt join together thy hands a little, and take rest again;)
A little sleep -- a little slumber -- A little folding of the hands to lie down.
