“Take the count of the people from twenty years old and upward,” as the Lord commanded Moses and the children of Israel who went forth out of the land of Egypt.

From twenty years old and above ye shall number the people, as the Lord had commanded Moses, and the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

Moses and Eleazar obeyed and called together all the men of that age group. They assembled in the plains of Moab across the Jordan River from Jericho. These were the Israelites who came out of Egypt:
“Take a census of those 20 years old or more, as the Lord had commanded Moses and the Israelites who came out of the land of Egypt.”
“Count the men 20 years old or older. This is what the Lord commanded Moses.” Here are the Israelites who came out of Egypt:
They counted every male Israeli who had come out of Egypt and who was 20 years old and above, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

So Moses and Eleazar issued census instructions to the leaders of Israel. (The entire nation was camped in the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, opposite Jericho.) Here are the results of the census:
Obeying God’s command, Moses and Eleazar the priest addressed them on the Plains of Moab at Jordan-Jericho: “Count off from age twenty and older.” The People of Israel who came out of the land of Egypt: Reuben, Israel’s firstborn. The sons of Reuben were: Hanoch and the Hanochite clan, Pallu and the Palluite clan, Hezron and the Hezronite clan, Carmi and the Carmite clan. These made up the Reubenite clans. They numbered 43,730.
“Take the count of the people from twenty years old and older,” as the Lord commanded Moses. The children of Israel, who went out of the land of Egypt, were these:
“Take a census of those at least 20 years old, as Yahweh commanded Moses.” These are the Israelites who came from Egypt:

“Count all the men 20 years old or more. Do it just as the Lord commanded Moses.” Here are the men of Israel who came out of Egypt.
“Take a census of the men twenty years old or more, as the Lord commanded Moses.” These were the Israelites who came out of Egypt:

“Number the people who are twenty years old and older, as the Lord has told Moses.” Now these were the sons of Israel who came out of the land of Egypt.
“List all the men of Israel twenty years old and older, just as the Lord commanded Moses.” This is the record of all the descendants of Israel who came out of Egypt.

“Just as Adonai commanded Moses, a census will be taken of all men of Bnei-Yisrael who came out of Egypt, from 20 years old and upward.”
Moses and Eleazar: Add up the people 20 years old and older, just as the Eternal One commanded Moses. The total number of the Israelites who had left Egypt were:
“Take a census, from twenty years old and upward, as Yahweh commanded Moses and the children of Israel.” These are those who came out of the land of Egypt.
to them that were of twenty years and above (to those who were twenty years of age and older), as the Lord commanded; of which this is the number.
`From a son of twenty years and upward,' as Jehovah hath commanded Moses and the sons of Israel who are coming out from the land of Egypt.
