Matthew 18:33
Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellow servant, even as I had pity on thee?’
shouldest not thou also have had mercy on thy fellow-servant, even as I had mercy on thee?
Should you not have had mercy on your fellow slave [who owed you little by comparison], as I had mercy on you?’
And should you not have had pity and mercy on your fellow attendant, as I had pity and mercy on you?
Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
Shouldn’t you also have mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you?’
Shouldn’t you have had pity on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’
Don’t you think you should show pity to someone else, as I did to you?”
shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellow-bondman, as *I* also had compassion on thee?
Should not you also have had mercy on your fellow slave, as I also had mercy on you?’
Shouldst not thou then have had compassion also on thy fellow servant, even as I had compassion on thee?
So you should have given that other man who serves with you the same mercy I gave you.’
And should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?’
And should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?’
·You should have [L Shouldn’t you have…?] showed mercy to ·that other servant [your fellow servant/slave], just as I showed mercy to you.’
Oughtest not thou also to have had pity on thy fellow servant, even as I had pity on thee?
Shouldn’t you have treated the other servant as mercifully as I treated you?’
You should have had mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you.’
Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow slave, as I had mercy on you?’
I had mercy on you. You should have had the same mercy on that other servant.’
Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you?’
Then his master called him in. “‘You wicked servant!’ he said. ‘Didn’t I cancel all that debt when you begged me to do so? Oughtn’t you to have taken pity on your fellow-servant as I, your master, took pity on you? And his master in anger handed him over to the gaolers till he should repay the whole debt. This is how my Heavenly Father will treat you unless you each forgive your brother from your heart.”
was it not also expedient unto thee to have mercy on thy fellowslave even as I had mercy on thee?
Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
Should you not also have shown mercy to your fellow slave as I also showed mercy to you?’
shouldn’t you have mercy on others, just as I had mercy on you?’
“The king summoned the man and said, ‘You evil servant! I forgave your entire debt when you begged me for mercy. Shouldn’t you be compelled to be merciful to your fellow servant who asked for mercy?’ The king was furious and put the screws to the man until he paid back his entire debt. And that’s exactly what my Father in heaven is going to do to each one of you who doesn’t forgive unconditionally anyone who asks for mercy.”
Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, even as I had pity on you?’
And should not you also have had mercy on · your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?’
Shouldn’t you have treated the other servant as mercifully as I treated you?’
Should you not have had pity on your fellow servant, as I had pity on you?’
Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow slave, in the same way that I had mercy on you?’
You should have showed mercy to that other servant, just as I showed mercy to you.’
Should you not have shown mercy to your fellow slave, just as I showed it to you?’
Shouldn’t you have had mercy on the other servant just as I had mercy on you?’
Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’
Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?”
Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’
Should you not have had pity on the other servant, even as I had pity on you?’
Shouldn’t you have mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you?’
Should you not have had mercy on your fellow slave, as I had mercy on you?’
Should you not have had mercy on your fellow-slave, as I had mercy on you?”
Should you not have had mercy on your fellow-slave, as I had mercy on you?”
Should you not have had mercy on your fellow slave, as I had mercy on you?’
Was it not necessary also for you to have rachamim (mercy) upon your fellow servant?
and should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?’
and should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?’
Wasn’t it necessary for you also to show mercy to your fellow slave, just as I showed mercy to you?’
What would be the faithful response to such latitude and generosity? Surely you should have shown the same charity to a friend who was in your debt.”
Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?’
You should have been kind to the other servant, as I was kind to you."
Therefore whether it behooved not also thee to have mercy on thine even-servant [on thy even-servant], as [also] I had mercy on thee?
did it not behove also thee to have dealt kindly with thy fellow-servant, as I also dealt kindly with thee?
