But Jesus said unto them, “A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.”

Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor (respect) except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.”
But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor (deference, reverence) except in his [own] country and among [his] relatives and in his [own] house.
But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
Jesus said to them, “Prophets are honored everywhere except in their own hometowns, among their relatives, and in their own households.”
But Yeshua said to them. “The only place people don’t respect a prophet is in his home town, among his own relatives, and in his own house.”
But Jesus said, “Prophets are honored by everyone, except the people of their hometown and their relatives and their own family.”
But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not despised save in his own country, and among [his] kinsmen, and in his own house.
And Jesus was saying to them that “A prophet is not without-honor except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his house”.
And Jesus said to them: A prophet is not without honor, but in his own country, and in his own house, and among his own kindred.
Then Jesus said to them, “People everywhere give honor to a prophet, except in his own town, with his own people, or in his home.”
And Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.”
And Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honour, except in his home town and among his relatives and in his own household.”
Jesus said to them, “A prophet is ·honored everywhere [not dishonored] except in his hometown and with his own ·people [relatives; kin] and in his own ·home [household].”

Jesus said to them, “Prophets are respected everywhere except in their own hometown and by their relatives and their family.”
Then Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown, among his relatives, and in his household.”
Jesus said to them, “Other people give honor to a prophet. But in his own town with his own people and in his own home, a prophet does not receive honor.”
Jesus had been telling them, “A prophet is without honor only in his hometown, among his relatives, and in his own home.”
Then he left that district and came into his own native town followed by his disciples. When the Sabbath day came, he began to teach in the synagogue. The congregation was astonished and remarked, “Where does he get all this? What is this wisdom that he has been given—and what about these marvellous things that he can do? He’s only the carpenter, Mary’s son, the brother of James, Joses, Judas and Simon; and his sisters are living here with us!” And they were deeply offended with him. But Jesus said to them, “No prophet goes unhonoured—except in his native town or with his own relations or in his own home!”

Jesus told them, “A prophet has little honor in his hometown, among his relatives, on the streets he played in as a child.” Jesus wasn’t able to do much of anything there—he laid hands on a few sick people and healed them, that’s all. He couldn’t get over their stubbornness. He left and made a circuit of the other villages, teaching.
Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and among his own relatives, and in his own house.”

Jesus said to them, `Other people honour a man who is a prophet of God. But the people in his own country, his own home, and his family, do not honour him.'
And Jesus said to them, That a prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his kin, and in his house.
