But woe to them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days!
But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days!
And woe to those women who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!
And alas for those who are pregnant and for those who have nursing babies in those days!
But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days!
How terrible it will be at that time for women who are pregnant and for women who are nursing their children.
What a terrible time it will be for pregnant women and nursing mothers!
It will be an awful time for women who are expecting babies or nursing young children.
But woe to those that are with child and to those that give suck in those days!
And woe to the ones having a child in the womb, and to the ones nursing in those days.
And woe to them that are with child, and that give suck in those days.
“During that time it will be hard for women who are pregnant or have small babies.
That will be a bad time for women who are soon to have a baby. It will also be a bad time for those women who have little babies.
How terrible it will be for those who are pregnant and those who are nursing babies in those days!
And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days!
And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days!
At that time, ·how terrible it will be for [L woe to] women who are pregnant or have nursing babies!
Then woe shall be to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days.
“How horrible it will be for the women who are pregnant or who are nursing babies in those days.
How terrible it will be in those days for women who are pregnant and for mothers with little babies!
Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days!
At that time, it will be hard for women who are pregnant or have nursing babies.
“How terrible it will be for women who are pregnant or who are nursing babies in those days!
“But when you see ‘the abomination of desolation’ standing where it ought not—(let the reader take note of this)—then those who are in Judea must fly to the hills! The man on his house-top must not go down nor go into his house to fetch anything out of it, and the man in the field must not turn back to fetch his coat. Alas for the women who are pregnant at that time, and alas for those with babies at their breasts! Pray God that it may not be winter when that time comes, for there will be such utter misery in those days as had never been from the creation until now—and never will be again. Indeed, if the Lord did not shorten those days, no human beings could survive. But for the sake of the people whom he has chosen he has shortened those days.
But woe to those that are with child and to those that give suck in those days!

“Woe to pregnant women in those days, and to mothers nursing their children.
“But be ready to run for it when you see the monster of desecration set up where it should never be. You who can read, make sure you understand what I’m talking about. If you’re living in Judea at the time, run for the hills; if you’re working in the yard, don’t go back to the house to get anything; if you’re out in the field, don’t go back to get your coat. Pregnant and nursing mothers will have it especially hard. Hope and pray this won’t happen in the middle of winter.
But woe to women who are pregnant and to those who nurse in those days!

It will be hard for women who will soon be mothers. It will be hard for those feeding babies in those days!
How terrible it will be for pregnant women and for nursing mothers in those days.
Woe shall be then to women that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days.

In those days it will be very hard for women who are to have a child. It will be very hard for mothers who have babies.
But woe to them that be with child, and nourishing [and nursing] in those days.
