For they were about five thousand men. And He said to His disciples, “Make them sit down by fifties in a company.”

(For there were about 5,000 men.) And He said to His disciples, “Have them sit down to eat in groups of about fifty each.”
For there were about 5,000 men. And [Jesus] said to His disciples, Have them [sit down] reclining in table groups (companies) of about fifty each.
For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company.
(They said this because about five thousand men were present.) Jesus said to his disciples, “Seat them in groups of about fifty.”
(For there were about five thousand men.) He said to his talmidim, “Make them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”

“You give them something to eat!” returned Jesus. “But we’ve nothing here,” they replied, “except five loaves and two fish, unless you want us to go and buy food for all this crowd?” (There were approximately five thousand men there). Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Get them to sit down in groups of about fifty.”

For there were about 5,000 men there! “Just tell them to sit down on the ground in groups of about fifty each,” Jesus replied.
“You feed them,” Jesus said. They said, “We couldn’t scrape up more than five loaves of bread and a couple of fish—unless, of course, you want us to go to town ourselves and buy food for everybody.” (There were more than five thousand people in the crowd.)
But he went ahead and directed his disciples, “Sit them down in groups of about fifty.” They did what he said, and soon had everyone seated. He took the five loaves and two fish, lifted his face to heaven in prayer, blessed, broke, and gave the bread and fish to the disciples to hand out to the crowd. After the people had all eaten their fill, twelve baskets of leftovers were gathered up.

For there were about chamesh elafim anashim (five thousand). But Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach said to his talmidim, Have them recline [as at a farbrengen (inspirational gathering)], and chamishim (fifty) in a group. [TEHILLIM 23:2]

For there were about five thousand men. Then Yeshua said to His disciples, “Have the people recline in groups of about fifty each.”
Jesus: No. You give them something to eat. Disciples: Are You kidding? There are at least 5,000 men here, not to mention women and children. All we have are five loaves and two fish. The only way we could provide for them would be to go to a nearby city and buy cartloads of food. That would cost a small fortune. Jesus: Just do this: organize them in little communities of about 50 people each and have them sit down.
