Luke 12:39
And this know, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not have suffered his house to be broken into.
But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and not have left his house to be broken through.
“But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time the thief was coming, he [would have been awake and alert, and] would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
But of this be assured: if the householder had known at what time the burglar was coming, he would have been awake and alert and watching and would not have permitted his house to be dug through and broken into.
And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
But know this, if the homeowner had known what time the thief was coming, he wouldn’t have allowed his home to be broken into.
“But notice this: no house-owner would let his house be broken into if he knew when the thief was coming.
You would surely not let a thief break into your home, if you knew when the thief was coming.
But this know, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be dug through.
And you know this saying— that if the house-master had known at which hour the thief was coming, he would not have permitted his house to be broken-into.
But this know ye, that if the householder did know at what hour the thief would come, he would surely watch, and would not suffer his house to be broken open.
“What would a homeowner do if he knew when a thief was coming? You know he would not let the thief break in.
But know this, that if the master of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have left his house to be broken into.
But know this, that if the master of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have left his house to be broken into.
“·Remember [Know] this: If the owner of the house knew what time a thief was coming, he would not allow the thief to ·enter [break into] his house.
Now understand this, that if the good man of the house had known at what hour the thief would have come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be dug through.
“Of course, you realize that if the homeowner had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let him break into his house.
And you can be sure that if the owner of a house knew the time when the thief would come, he would not let the thief break into his house.
But know this: If the homeowner had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.
“Remember this: If the owner of the house knew what time a thief was coming, then the owner would not allow the thief to enter his house.
But be sure of this: if the homeowner had known at what time the thief were coming, he would have watched and would not have let his house be broken into.
“You must be ready dressed and have your lamps alight, like men who wait to welcome their lord and master on his return from the wedding-feast, so that when he comes and knocks at the door, they may open it for him at once. Happy are the servants whom their lord finds on the alert when he arrives. I assure you that he will take off his outer clothes, make then sit down to dinner, and come and wait on them. And if he should come just after midnight or in the very early morning, and find them still on the alert, their happiness is assured. But be certain of this, that if the householder had known the time when the burglar would come, he would not have let his house be broken into. So you must be on the alert, for the Son of Man is coming at a time when you may not expect him.”
And know this: that if the husband of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
But understand this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief was coming, he would not have left his house to be broken into.
“Everyone would be ready for him if they knew the exact hour of his return—just as they would be ready for a thief if they knew when he was coming.
“You know that if the house owner had known what night the burglar was coming, he wouldn’t have stayed out late and left the place unlocked. So don’t you be slovenly and careless. Just when you don’t expect him, the Son of Man will show up.”
But know this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched and not have allowed his house to be broken into.

But have daas of this, that if the Baal Bayit had had da’as in what hour the ganav (thief) comes, he would not have allowed his bais to be broken into.

In contrast, imagine a complacent, apathetic household manager whose house gets robbed. If he had been aware that thieves were waiting in the bushes and what hour they were coming, [he would have watched and] he never would have left the house!
But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and not allowed his house to be broken into.
`And remember this. If the owner of a house knew at what time a man would come to steal, he would not let the man break into his house.
And know ye this thing, for if an husbandman knew, in what hour the thief would come, soothly he should wake, and not suffer his house to be mined [and suffer not his house to be mined].
`And this know, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief doth come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken through;
