Judith 8:15
even if he chooses not to help us in the next five days. God has the power to visit us in however many days he wishes or to destroy us in front of our enemies.
For God will not threaten like man, nor be inflamed to anger like the son of man.
If he decides not to come to our aid within five days, he still may rescue us at any time he chooses. Or he may let our enemies destroy us.
For if he does not plan to come to our aid within the five days, he has it equally within his power to protect us at such time as he pleases, or to destroy us in the sight of our enemies.
For if he does not choose to help us within these five days, he has power to protect us within any time he pleases, or even to destroy us in the presence of our enemies.

for God shall not menace so as man, neither as a son of man he shall be inflamed to wrathfulness. [not forsooth as a man so God shall threaten, nor as the son of man to wrath he shall be inflamed.]
