Judith 10:12
They arrested her and asked, “Who are your people? Where did you come from? And where are you going?” She replied, “I’m a daughter of the Hebrews, and I’m escaping from them because they are about to be handed over to you to be consumed.
And she answered: I am a daughter of the Hebrews, and I am fled from them, because I knew they would be made a prey to you, because they despised you, and would not of their own accord yield themselves, that they might find mercy in your sight.
They arrested Judith and questioned her, What is your nationality? Where did you come from, and where are you going? I am a Hebrew, she answered, but I am running away from the Israelites because God is going to let you destroy them.
The men took her in custody and asked her, “To what people do you belong? Where do you come from, and where are you going?” She replied: “I am a daughter of the Hebrews, and I am fleeing from them, because they are about to be delivered up to you as prey.
and took her into custody. They asked her, “To what people do you belong, and where are you coming from, and where are you going?” She replied, “I am a daughter of the Hebrews, but I am fleeing from them, for they are about to be handed over to you to be devoured.

And she answered, I am a daughter of (the) Hebrews, and therefore I have fled from the face of them, for I know, that it shall come, that they shall be given to you into prey, for they have despised you, and for they would not betake themselves willfully (or willingly) to you, (so) that they should have found grace in your sight.
