And Jesus said, “Make the men sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place; so the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

Jesus said, “Have the people sit down [to eat].” Now [the ground] there was [covered with] an abundance of grass, so the men sat down, about 5,000 in number.
Jesus said, Make all the people recline (sit down). Now the ground (a pasture) was covered with thick grass at the spot, so the men threw themselves down, about 5,000 in number.
And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass there. They sat down, about five thousand of them.
Yeshua said, “Have the people sit down.” There was a lot of grass there, so they sat down. The number of men was about five thousand.
The ground was covered with grass, and Jesus told his disciples to have everyone sit down. About five thousand men were in the crowd.

Then Jesus said, “Get the people to sit down.” There was plenty of grass there, and the men, some five thousand of them, sat down. Then Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks for them and distributed them to the people sitting on the grass, and he distributed the fish in the same way, giving them as much as they wanted. When they had eaten enough, Jesus said to his disciples, “Collect the pieces that are left over so that nothing is wasted.”

Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” There was a nice carpet of green grass in this place. They sat down, about five thousand of them. Then Jesus took the bread and, having given thanks, gave it to those who were seated. He did the same with the fish. All ate as much as they wanted.

Jesus: Tell the people to sit down. They all sat together on a large grassy area. Those counting the people reported approximately 5,000 men—not including the women and children—sitting in the crowd.
