Job 9:33
Neither is there any mediator between us who might lay his hand upon us both.
There is no umpire betwixt us, That might lay his hand upon us both.
“There is no arbitrator between us, Who could lay his hand upon us both [would that there were].
There is no umpire between us, who might lay his hand upon us both, [would that there were!]
Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both.
Oh, that there were a mediator between us; he would lay his hand on both of us,
There is no arbitrator between us who could lay his hand on us both.
Who could possibly judge between the two of us?
There is not an umpire between us, who should lay his hand upon us both.
There is none that may be able to reprove both, and to put his hand between both.
I wish there were someone who could listen to both sides, someone to judge both of us in a fair way.
There is no arbiter between us, who might lay his hand on us both.
There is no arbiter between us, who might lay his hand on us both.
·I wish there were someone to make peace [L There is no umpire] between us, ·someone to decide our case [L who would set his hand on both of us].
Neither is there any umpire that might lay his hand upon us both.
There is no mediator between us to put his hand on both of us.
But there is no one to step between us— no one to judge both God and me.
There is no one to judge between us, to lay his hand on both of us.
I wish there was someone to make peace between us. I wish someone could decide our case.
There is not yet a mediator between us, who would set his hand on the two of us,
Neither is there any arbiter between us, that might lay his hand upon us both.
Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both.
Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both.
There is no arbiter between us that he might lay his hand on both of us.
“And I cannot defend myself, for you are no mere man as I am. If you were, then we could discuss it fairly, but there is no umpire between us, no middle man, no mediator to bring us together.
“God and I are not equals; I can’t bring a case against him. We’ll never enter a courtroom as peers. How I wish we had an arbitrator to step in and let me get on with life— To break God’s death grip on me, to free me from this terror so I could breathe again. Then I’d speak up and state my case boldly. As things stand, there is no way I can do it.”
Nor is there a mediator between us, who may lay his hand upon us both.
There is no mediator between us to put his hand on both of us.
Would that there were an arbiter between us, who could lay his hand upon us both
“There is no umpire between us, Who may lay his hand upon us both.
I wish there were someone to make peace between us, someone to decide our case.
Nor is there an arbiter between us, who might lay his hand on us both,
I wish someone would settle matters between us. I wish someone would bring us together.
If only there were someone to mediate between us, someone to bring us together,
If only there were someone to mediate between us, someone to bring us together,
Nor is there any mediator between us, Who may lay his hand on us both.
There is no one to decide between us, who might lay his hand upon us both.
If only there were a mediator between us, someone who could bring us together.
There is no umpire between us, who might lay his hand on us both.
There is no umpire between us, who might lay his hand on us both.
There is no umpire between us, who might lay his hand on us both.
There is no umpire between us, who might lay his hand on us both.
Neither is there any mochiach (arbitrator) between us, that might lay his yad upon us both.
There is no umpire between us, who might lay his hand upon us both.
There is no umpire between us, who might lay his hand upon us both.
There is no arbitrator between us, who could lay his hand on us both;
There is no judge to stand between us who can lay his hands on us both,
There is no umpire between us, that might lay his hand on us both.
There is none, that may reprove ever either, and set his hand in both. (There is no one, who can rebuke both of us, or who can put his hand upon both of us.)
If there were between us an umpire, He doth place his hand on us both.
