Job 9:11
Lo, He goeth by me, and I see Him not; He passeth on also, but I perceive Him not.
Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: He passeth on also, but I perceive him not.
“Behold, He passes by me, and I do not see Him; He moves past me, but I do not perceive Him.
Behold, He goes by me, and I see Him not; He passes on also, but I perceive Him not.
Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not.
If God goes by me, I can’t see him; he glides past, and I can’t perceive him.
He can go right by me, and I don’t see him; he moves past without my being aware of him.
God walks right past me, without making a sound.
Lo, he goeth by me, and I see [him] not; and he passeth along, and I perceive him not.
If he come to me, I shall not see him: if he depart I shall not understand.
When he passes by, I cannot see him. He goes right past me, and I don’t notice.
Behold, he passes by me, and I see him not; he moves on, but I do not perceive him.
Behold, he passes by me, and I see him not; he moves on, but I do not perceive him.
·When [or If] he passes me, I cannot see him; ·when [or if] he goes by me, I do not ·recognize [perceive] him.
Lo, when he goeth by me, I see him not: and when he passeth by, I perceive him not:
He passes alongside of me, and I don’t even see him. He goes past me, and I don’t even notice him.
God passes by, but I cannot see him.
If He passes by me, I wouldn’t see Him; if He goes right by, I wouldn’t recognize Him.
When he passes me, I cannot see him. When he goes by me, I cannot recognize him.
“If he were to pass near me, I wouldn’t notice; if he moves by, I wouldn’t perceive him.
Behold, he shall pass before me, and I shall not see him; and he shall pass on, and I shall not understand him.
Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not.
Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not.
If he passes by me, I would not see him; and if he should move on, I would not recognize him.
He passes by, invisible; he moves along, but I don’t see him go.
Job continued by saying: “So what’s new? I know all this. The question is, ‘How can mere mortals get right with God?’ If we wanted to bring our case before him, what chance would we have? Not one in a thousand! God’s wisdom is so deep, God’s power so immense, who could take him on and come out in one piece? He moves mountains before they know what’s happened, flips them on their heads on a whim. He gives the earth a good shaking up, rocks it down to its very foundations. He tells the sun, ‘Don’t shine,’ and it doesn’t; he pulls the blinds on the stars. All by himself he stretches out the heavens and strides on the waves of the sea. He designed the Big Dipper and Orion, the Pleiades and Alpha Centauri. We’ll never comprehend all the great things he does; his miracle-surprises can’t be counted. Somehow, though he moves right in front of me, I don’t see him; quietly but surely he’s active, and I miss it. If he steals you blind, who can stop him? Who’s going to say, ‘Hey, what are you doing?’ God doesn’t hold back on his anger; even dragon-bred monsters cringe before him.
Yes, He would cross before me, and I would not see Him; He would pass on by, but I would not perceive Him.
He passes alongside of me, and I don’t even see him. He goes past me, and I don’t even notice him.
Should he come near me, I do not see him; should he pass by, I am not aware of him;
“Were He to pass by me, I would not see Him; Were He to move past me, I would not perceive Him.
When he passes me, I cannot see him; when he goes by me, I do not recognize him.
If he passes by me, I cannot see him, if he goes by, I cannot perceive him.
When he passes by me, I can’t see him. When he goes past me, I can’t recognize him.
When he passes me, I cannot see him; when he goes by, I cannot perceive him.
When he passes me, I cannot see him; when he goes by, I cannot perceive him.
If He goes by me, I do not see Him; If He moves past, I do not perceive Him;
When He passes by me, I do not see Him. When He goes by me, I do not know Him.
“Yet when he comes near, I cannot see him. When he moves by, I do not see him go.
Look, he passes by me, and I do not see him; he moves on, but I do not perceive him.
Look, he passes by me, and I do not see him; he moves on, but I do not perceive him.
Look, he passes by me, and I do not see him; he moves on, but I do not perceive him.
Look, he passes by me, and I do not see him; he moves on, but I do not perceive him.
Hen (lo), He passeth by me, and I see Him not; He goeth on also, but I perceive Him not.
Lo, he passes by me, and I see him not; he moves on, but I do not perceive him.
Lo, he passes by me, and I see him not; he moves on, but I do not perceive him.
If He were to pass by me, I would not see Him! Were He to move past me, I would not perceive Him.
Still, if He passes right by me, I don’t see Him; if He brushes past, I don’t notice Him.
Behold, he goes by me, and I don’t see him. He passes on also, but I don’t perceive him.
If he cometh to me, I shall not see him; if he goeth away from me, I shall not understand (I shall not know it).
Lo, He goeth over by me, and I see not, And He passeth on, and I attend not to it.
