Job 4:3
Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
Behold, thou hast instructed many, And thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
“Behold, you have admonished and instructed many, And you have strengthened weak hands.
Behold, you have instructed many, and you have strengthened the weak hands.
Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
Look, you’ve instructed many and given strength to drooping hands.
You have given moral instruction to many, you have firmed up feeble hands,
Remember how your words
Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands;
Behold thou hast taught many, and thou hast strengthened the weary hands:
Job, you have taught many people. You encouraged those who were ready to quit.
Behold, you have instructed many, and you have strengthened the weak hands.
Behold, you have instructed many, and you have strengthened the weak hands.
Think about the many people you have taught and the weak hands you have made strong.
Behold, thou hast taught many, and hast strengthened the weary hands.
Certainly, you have instructed many people: When hands were weak, you made them strong.
You have taught many people and given strength to feeble hands.
Indeed, you have instructed many and have strengthened weak hands.
Think about how many people you have taught. Think about how you have made weak hands strong.
Look! You’ve admonished many people, and you’ve strengthened feeble hands.
Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
Look, you have instructed many, and you have strengthened weak hands.
In the past you have told many a troubled soul to trust in God* and have encouraged those who are weak or falling, or lie crushed upon the ground or are tempted to despair.
Then Eliphaz from Teman spoke up: “Would you mind if I said something to you? Under the circumstances it’s hard to keep quiet. You yourself have done this plenty of times, spoken words that clarify, encouraged those who were about to quit. Your words have put stumbling people on their feet, put fresh hope in people about to collapse. But now you’re the one in trouble—you’re hurting! You’ve been hit hard and you’re reeling from the blow. But shouldn’t your devout life give you confidence now? Shouldn’t your exemplary life give you hope?
Surely you have instructed many, and you have strengthened the weak hands.
Certainly, you have instructed many people: When hands were weak, you made them strong.
Look, you have instructed many, and made firm their feeble hands.
“Behold you have admonished many, And you have strengthened weak hands.
Think about the many people you have taught and the weak hands you have made strong.
Look, you have instructed many; you have strengthened feeble hands.
Look, you taught many people. You made weak hands strong.
Think how you have instructed many, how you have strengthened feeble hands.
Think how you have instructed many, how you have strengthened feeble hands.
Surely you have instructed many, And you have strengthened weak hands.
See, you have taught many, and you have given strength to weak hands.
“In the past you have encouraged many people; you have strengthened those who were weak.
See, you have instructed many; you have strengthened the weak hands.
See, you have instructed many; you have strengthened the weak hands.
See, you have instructed many; you have strengthened the weak hands.
See, you have instructed many; you have strengthened the weak hands.
Hinei, thou hast instructed rabbim (many), and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
Behold, you have instructed many, and you have strengthened the weak hands.
Behold, you have instructed many, and you have strengthened the weak hands.
Behold, you have instructed many; you have strengthened weak hands.
Look back, and think on the many you have taught; you have strengthened the weak hands of the suffering.
Behold, you have instructed many, you have strengthened the weak hands.
Lo! thou hast taught full many men, and thou hast strengthened hands made faint.
Lo, thou hast instructed many, And feeble hands thou makest strong.
