Job 21:34
“How then comfort ye me in vain, seeing in your answers there remaineth falsehood?”
How then comfort ye me in vain, Seeing in your answers there remaineth only falsehood?
“How then can you vainly comfort me with empty words, Since your answers remain untrue?”
How then can you comfort me with empty and futile words, since in your replies there lurks falsehood?
How then comfort ye me in vain, seeing in your answers there remaineth falsehood?
How empty is your comfort to me; only deceit remains in your responses.
“Why offer me such meaningless comfort? Of your answers, only the perfidy remains.”
But empty, meaningless words are the comfort you offer me.
How then comfort ye me in vain? Your answers remain perfidious.
How then do ye comfort me in vain, whereas your answer is shewn to be repugnant to truth?
“So your empty words are no comfort to me. There is no truth at all in your answers!”
How then will you comfort me with empty nothings? There is nothing left of your answers but falsehood.”
How then will you comfort me with empty nothings? There is nothing left of your answers but falsehood.”
“So how can you comfort me with this ·nonsense [empty/meaningless drivel]? Your answers are ·only lies [or disloyal]!”
How then comfort ye me in vain, seeing in your answer there remain but lies?
How can you comfort me with this nonsense when your answers continue to betray me?”
And you! You try to comfort me with nonsense! Every answer you give is a lie!
So how can you offer me such futile comfort? Your answers are deceptive.
“So you cannot comfort me with this nonsense. Your answers are still only lies!”
How then, can you console me so worthlessly? What is left of your answers is treachery.”
How then do ye comfort me in vain, given that your answers remain as falsehood?
How then comfort ye me in vain, seeing in your answers there remaineth falsehood?
How then comfort ye me in vain, seeing in your answers there remaineth falsehood?
So how will you comfort me with emptiness, when fraud is left in your answers?”
How can you comfort me when your whole premise is so wrong?”
“So how do you expect me to get any comfort from your nonsense? Your so-called comfort is a tissue of lies.”
“How then can you comfort me with emptiness, since deceit remains in your answers?”
How can you comfort me with this nonsense when your answers continue to betray me?”
How empty the consolation you offer me! Your arguments remain a fraud.
“How then will you vainly comfort me, For your answers remain full of falsehood?”
“So how can you comfort me with this nonsense? Your answers are only lies!”
So how can you console me with your futile words? Nothing is left of your answers but deception!”
“So how can you comfort me with your speeches? They don’t make any sense at all. Your answers are nothing but lies!”
“So how can you console me with your nonsense? Nothing is left of your answers but falsehood!”
‘So how can you console me with your nonsense? Nothing is left of your answers but falsehood!’
How then can you comfort me with empty words, Since falsehood remains in your answers?”
How then can you comfort me with foolish words? Your answers are full of lies.”
“How can your empty clichés comfort me? All your explanations are lies!”
How then will you comfort me with empty nothings? There is nothing left of your answers but falsehood.”
How then will you comfort me with empty nothings? There is nothing left of your answers but falsehood.’
How then will you comfort me with empty nothings? There is nothing left of your answers but falsehood.’
How then will you comfort me with empty nothings? There is nothing left of your answers but falsehood.”
How then comfort ye me with hevel (empty nothings), seeing in your answers there is nothing left but falsehood?
How then will you comfort me with empty nothings? There is nothing left of your answers but falsehood.”
How then will you comfort me with empty nothings? There is nothing left of your answers but falsehood.”
“So how will your futility comfort me, for your answers remain nothing but falsehood?”
So, my friends, how can you continue trying to comfort me with these empty consolations? So far, your answers have been only thinly veiled lies!
So how can you comfort me with nonsense, because in your answers there remains only falsehood?”
How therefore comfort ye me in vain, since your answers be showed to (be) contrary (to) the truth? (And so your comfort for me is in vain, for your answers be shown to be contrary to the truth!)
And how do ye comfort me [with] vanity, And in your answers hath been left trespass?
