Jeremiah 18:12
And they said, “There is no hope; but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.”
But they say, It is in vain; for we will walk after our own devices, and we will do every one after the stubbornness of his evil heart.
But they will say, ‘That is hopeless! For we are going to follow our own plans, and each of us will act in accordance with the stubbornness of his evil heart.’
But they will say, That is in vain! For we will walk after our own devices, and we will each do as the stubbornness of his own evil heart dictates.
And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.
But they said, “What’s the use! We will follow our own plans and act according to our own willful, evil hearts.”
“But they will answer, ‘It’s hopeless! We will stick to our own plans; each of us will stubbornly follow his own evil desires!’
But I know you won’t listen. You might as well answer, “We don’t care what you say. We have made plans to sin, and we are going to be stubborn and do what we want!”
But they say, There is no hope; for we will walk after our own devices, and we will each one do [according to] the stubbornness of his evil heart.
And they said: We have no hopes: for we will go after our own thoughts, and we will do every one according to the perverseness of his evil heart.
But the people of Judah will answer, ‘We don’t care what you say. We will continue to do what we want. We will do the evil our stubborn hearts want.’”
“But they say, ‘That is in vain! We will follow our own plans, and will every one act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.’
“But they say, ‘That is in vain! We will follow our own plans, and will every one act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.’
But they [C the people of Judah] will answer, ‘It won’t do any good to try! We will ·continue to do what we want [L go after our plans]. Each of us will do what his stubborn, evil heart wants!’”
But they said desperately, Surely we will walk after our own imaginations, and do every man after the stubbornness of his wicked heart.
“But they will answer, ‘It’s useless! We’ll live the way we want to. We’ll go our own stubborn, evil ways.’
They will answer, ‘No, why should we? We will all be just as stubborn and evil as we want to be.’”
But they will say, ‘It’s hopeless. We will continue to follow our plans, and each of us will continue to act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.’”
But the people of Judah will answer, ‘It won’t do any good to try! We will continue to do what we want. Each of us will do what his stubborn, evil heart wants!’”
But they’ll say, ‘It’s useless! We will follow our plans and each of us will pursue his own evil desires.’
And they said, This is useless, for we must walk after our own devices, and we must each one do the imagination of his evil heart.
And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.
And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.
But they will say, ‘It is hopeless, for we will go after our own plans, and each one of us will act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.’
But they replied, “Don’t waste your breath. We have no intention whatever of doing what God says. We will continue to live as we want to, free from any restraint, full of stubbornness and wickedness!”
“But they’ll just say, ‘Why should we? What’s the point? We’ll live just the way we’ve always lived, doom or no doom.’”
But they say, “There is no hope! But we will walk after our own devices, and each of us will do according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.”
“But they will answer, ‘It’s useless! We’ll live the way we want to. We’ll go our own stubborn, evil ways.’
But they will say, “No use! We will follow our own devices; each one of us will behave according to the stubbornness of our evil hearts!”
But they will say, ‘It’s hopeless! For we are going to follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.’
But the people of Judah will answer, ‘It won’t do any good to try! We will continue to do what we want. Each of us will do what his stubborn, evil heart wants!’”
But they just keep saying, ‘We do not care what you say! We will do whatever we want to do! We will continue to behave wickedly and stubbornly!’”
But they will reply, ‘It’s no use. We will continue to do what we’ve already planned. All of us will do what our stubborn and evil hearts want us to do.’ ”
But they will reply, ‘It’s no use. We will continue with our own plans; we will all follow the stubbornness of our evil hearts.’”
But they will reply, “It’s no use. We will continue with our own plans; we will all follow the stubbornness of our evil hearts.”’
And they said, “That is hopeless! So we will walk according to our own plans, and we will every one obey the dictates of his evil heart.”
But they will say, ‘There is no hope! For we are going to follow our own plans. Each of us will act in the strong-will of his sinful heart.’
But the people replied, “Don’t waste your breath. We will continue to live as we want to, stubbornly following our own evil desires.”
But they say, “It is no use! We will follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of our evil will.”
But they say, ‘It is no use! We will follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of our evil will.’
But they say, ‘It is no use! We will follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of our evil will.’
But they say, “It is no use! We will follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of our evil will.”
And they said, It is useless; but we will walk according to our own plans, and we will every ish do the sherirut (stubbornness) of his lev ra’ah.
“But they say, ‘That is in vain! We will follow our own plans, and will every one act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.’
“But they say, ‘That is in vain! We will follow our own plans, and will every one act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.’
But they say: ‘It’s hopeless! So we will walk after our own plans, and each of us will act in the stubbornness of his evil heart.’”
But they will tell you, “It’s no use trying to persuade us. We have our own thoughts about how we should live, and each of us is firmly committed to our own way, evil or not.
But they say, It is in vain; for we will walk after our own devices, and we will do everyone after the stubbornness of his evil heart.
Which said, We have despaired, for we shall go after our thoughts, and we shall do each man the shrewdness of his evil heart. (But they said, We despair, for we feel that we must go after our own thoughts, and each person doeth the depravity of his own evil heart.)
And they have said, It is incurable, For after our own devices we do go, And each the stubbornness of his evil heart we do.
