Let them be confounded that persecute me, and let not me be confounded: let them be afraid, and let not me be afraid: bring upon them the day of affliction, and with a double destruction, destroy them.
People are hurting me. Make them ashamed, but don’t disappoint me. Let them be filled with fear, but don’t give me any reason to fear. Bring the terrible day of disaster to my enemies. Break them, and break them again.
Make those who are ·hurting [persecuting; pursuing] me be ·ashamed [humiliated], but don’t bring ·shame to [humiliation on] me. Let them be terrified, but keep me from terror. Bring the day of ·disaster [evil; trouble] on them [C my enemies]. Destroy them, ·and destroy them again [L with double destruction].
Let them be confounded that persecute me, but do not let me be confounded; let them be dismayed; but do not let me be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil and destroy them with double destruction.
Let my persecutors be put to shame, but as for me, do not let me be put to shame. Let them be dismayed, but as for me, do not let me be dismayed. Bring on them the day of disaster, and with double destruction, destroy them.
God, pick up the pieces. Put me back together again. You are my praise! Listen to how they talk about me: “So where’s this ‘Word of God’? We’d like to see something happen!” But it wasn’t my idea to call for Doomsday. I never wanted trouble. You know what I’ve said. It’s all out in the open before you. Don’t add to my troubles. Give me some relief! Let those who harass me be harassed, not me. Let them be disgraced, not me. Bring down upon them the day of doom. Lower the boom. Boom!
Let those who persecute me be put to shame, but as for me, let me not be put to shame; Let them be dismayed, but let me not be dismayed. Bring on them a day of disaster, And crush them with twofold destruction!
Let those who make it hard for me be put to shame, but do not let me be put to shame. Let them be afraid, but do not let me be afraid. Bring on them a day of trouble, and destroy them with twice as much!
Let them be ashamed that persecute me, but let not me be put to shame; let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed; bring upon them the Yom Ra’ah, and destroy them with mishneh (double) destruction.
Bring shame on those who persecute me, but save me from that shame. Bring terror on them, but save me from that terror. Bring them to the day of disaster; shatter them, destroy them with double the destruction.
Be they shamed, that pursue me, and be I not shamed; dread they, and dread not I; bring in on them a day of torment, and defoul thou them by double defouling. (Be they shamed, who pursue me, and let me not be shamed; let them fear, and let me not be afraid; bring in upon them a day of torment, and defile thou them with double defiling.)
Let my pursuers be ashamed, and let not me be ashamed -- me! Let them be affrighted, and let not me be affrighted -- me! Bring in on them a day of evil, And a second time [with] destruction destroy them.
