Isaiah 28:12
to whom He said, “This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest,” and, “This is the refreshing” — yet they would not hear.
to whom he said, This is the rest, give ye rest to him that is weary; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
He who said to them, “This is the place of quiet, give rest to the weary,” And, “This is the resting place,” yet they would not listen.
To these [complaining Jews the Lord] had said, This is the true rest [the way to true comfort and happiness] that you shall give to the weary, and, This is the [true] refreshing—yet they would not listen [to His teaching].
To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
He has said to them, “This is the place of rest; give rest to the weary; this is the place of repose”; but they refused to listen.
He once told this people, “It’s time to rest, the exhausted can rest, now you can relax” — but they wouldn’t listen.
He promised you perfect peace and rest, but you refused to listen.
to whom he said, This is the rest: cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing. But they would not hear.
To whom he said: This is my rest, refresh the weary, and this is my refreshing: and they would not hear.
In the past he spoke to them and said, “Here is a resting place. Let those who are tired come and rest. This is the place of peace.” But they would not listen to him.
to whom he has said, “This is rest; give rest to the weary; and this is repose”; yet they would not hear.
to whom he has said, “This is rest; give rest to the weary; and this is repose”; yet they would not hear.
God said to them, “Here is a place of rest; let the ·tired people [weary] come and rest. This is the place of peace.” But the people would not listen.
Unto whom he said, This is the rest: give rest unto him that is weary, and this is the refreshing, but they would not hear.
He will say to them, “This is a place for comfort. This is a place of rest for those who are tired. This is a place for them to rest.” But they weren’t willing to listen.
He offered rest and comfort to all of you, but you refused to listen to him.
He had said to them: “This is the place of rest, let the weary rest; this is the place of repose.” But they would not listen.
God said to them, “Here is a place of rest. Let the tired people come and rest. This is the place of peace.” But the people would not listen.
to whom he said, “This is the resting place, so give rest to the weary”’ and, “This is the place of repose”— but they would not listen.

They could have rest in their own land if they would obey him, if they were kind and good. He told them that, but they wouldn’t listen to him.
But that’s exactly how you will be addressed. God will speak to this people In baby talk, one syllable at a time— and he’ll do it through foreign oppressors. He said before, “This is the time and place to rest, to give rest to the weary. This is the place to lay down your burden.” But they won’t listen.
He who said to them, “This is the rest. Give rest to the weary,” and, “This is repose,” yet they would not listen.

He said to his people, “I am offering you a resting place. Let those who are tired rest.” He continued, “I am offering you a place of peace and quiet.” But they wouldn’t listen.
to whom he said, “This is the resting place, let the weary rest”; and, “This is the place of repose”— but they would not listen.
to whom he said, ‘This is the resting-place, let the weary rest’; and, ‘This is the place of repose’– but they would not listen.
To whom He said, “This is the rest with which You may cause the weary to rest,” And, “This is the refreshing”; Yet they would not hear.
He Who said to them, “This is rest, give rest to the tired and weak.” And, “This is the place to rest,” but they would not listen.
God has told his people, “Here is a place of rest; let the weary rest here. This is a place of quiet rest.” But they would not listen.
to whom he has said, “This is rest; give rest to the weary; and this is repose”; yet they would not hear.

To whom He said, “Here is rest, give rest to the weary, here is repose”—but they would not listen.
Eternal One: This is the way: here is rest for the weary. I am showing you rest. But they wouldn’t listen to Him.
to whom he said, “This is the resting place. Give rest to weary”; and “This is the refreshing”; yet they would not hear.
to which he said, This is my rest; refresh ye a weary man, and this is my refreshing; and they would not hear. (to whom he said, This is my rest; refresh ye all the weary, and this is my refreshing; but they would not listen to him.)
