“But you, Isra’el, my servant; Ya‘akov, whom I have chosen, descendants of Avraham my friend,
Israel, you are my servant. I chose you, the family of my friend Abraham.

The Lord says, “You, Israel, are my servant. Jacob, I chose you. You are from the family of my friend, Abraham.
‘But you, Israel, are my servant. Yes, I have chosen you, descendants of Jacob. You are descendants of my friend, Abraham.
But you, O Israel, my servant, O Jacob, whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham, whom I love,
But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham, my friend;
But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham, my friend;
·The Lord says, “People of Israel, you are my servants [L “You Israel, my servant]. ·People of Jacob, I chose you [L Jacob, whom I have chosen; 44:1]. You are ·from the family [descendants; offspring; seed] of my friend Abraham [Gen. 12:1–3].
¶ But thou, Israel, art my servant, and thou Jacob, whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
“But you are my servant Israel, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the descendant of Abraham, my dear friend.
“But you, Israel my servant, you are the people that I have chosen, the descendants of Abraham, my friend.
But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, descendant of Abraham, My friend—
The Lord says, “People of Israel, you are my servants. People of Jacob, I chose you. You are from the family of my friend Abraham.
“But as for you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I’ve chosen, the offspring of my friend Abraham—
But thou, Israel, my slave, Jacob whom I have chosen, art the seed of Abraham my friend.
But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
“But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, Seed of Abraham My friend,
But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you, the offspring of Abraham my friend,
But as for you, O Israel, you are mine, my chosen ones; for you are Abraham’s family, and he was my friend.
“But you, Israel, are my servant. You’re Jacob, my first choice, descendants of my good friend Abraham. I pulled you in from all over the world, called you in from every dark corner of the earth, Telling you, ‘You’re my servant, serving on my side. I’ve picked you. I haven’t dropped you.’ Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.
But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham, My friend.
“But you are my servant Israel, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the descendant of Abraham, my dear friend.
But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, offspring of Abraham my friend—
“But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, Descendant of Abraham My friend,
“But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, Descendant of Abraham My friend,
