Genesis 32:8
Print
And he said, “If Esau come to the one company and smite it, then the other company which is left shall escape.”
and he said, If Esau come to the one company, and smite it, then the company which is left shall escape.
and he said, “If Esau comes to the one camp and attacks it, then the other camp which is left will escape.”
Thinking, If Esau comes to the one group and smites it, then the other group which is left will escape.
And said, If Esau come to the one company, and smite it, then the other company which is left shall escape.
He thought, “If Esau comes to one camp and attacks it, the remaining one can escape.”
He thought, If Esau meets the first camp and attacks it, at least one camp will be left to escape.
Ya‘akov became greatly afraid and distressed. He divided the people, flocks, cattle and camels with him into two camps,
He thought, “If Esau attacks one group, perhaps the other can escape.”
And he said, If Esau come to the one troop and smite it, then the other troop which is left shall escape.
Saying: If Esau come to one company and destroy it, the other company that is left shall escape.
Jacob thought, “If Esau comes and destroys one group, the other group can run away and be saved.”
He thought, ‘If Esau attacks one group, the other group may run away safely.’
He said, “If Esau comes to one camp and strikes it, then the other camp will escape.”
thinking, “If Esau comes to the one camp and attacks it, then the camp that is left will escape.”
thinking, “If Esau comes to one camp and attacks it, then the camp that is left will escape.”
Jacob thought, “Esau might come and ·destroy [strike; attack] one camp, but the ·other camp can run away and [L the camp that is left] ·be saved [escape].”
For he said, If Esau come to the one company and smite it, the other company shall escape.
He thought, “If Esau attacks the one camp, then the other camp will be able to escape.”
He thought, “If Esau comes and attacks the first group, the other may be able to escape.”
He thought, “If Esau comes to one camp and attacks it, the remaining one can escape.”
Jacob thought, “Esau might come and destroy one camp. But the other camp can run away and be saved.”
Jacob was thinking, “If Esau comes to one group and attacks it, then the remaining group may escape.”
and said, If Esau comes to the one company and smites it, then the other company which is left shall escape.
And said, If Esau come to the one company, and smite it, then the other company which is left shall escape.
and said, If Esau come to the one company, and smite it, then the other company which is left shall escape.
And he said, “If Esau comes to the one camp and strikes it, then the camp which remains will escape.”
And he thought, “If Esau comes to one company and destroys it, the remaining company will be able to escape.”
for he said, “If Esau attacks one group, perhaps the other can escape.”
Jacob was scared. Very scared. Panicked, he divided his people, sheep, cattle, and camels into two camps. He thought, “If Esau comes on the first camp and attacks it, the other camp has a chance to get away.”
He said, “If Esau comes to the one camp and attacks it, then the other camp which is left may escape.”
He thought, “If Esau attacks the one camp, then the other camp will be able to escape.”
Jacob was very much frightened. In his anxiety, he divided the people who were with him, as well as his flocks, herds and camels, into two camps.
for he said, “If Esau comes to the one company and attacks it, then the company which is left will escape.”
for he said, “If Esau comes to the one company and attacks it, then the company which is left will escape.”
Jacob was terribly afraid and filled with anxiety. He divided the men of his camp into two groups along with the flocks, the herds, and the camels.
Jacob thought, “Esau might come and destroy one camp, but the other camp can run away and be saved.”
“If Esau attacks one camp,” he thought, “then the other camp will be able to escape.”
He thought, “Esau might come and attack one group. If he does, the group that’s left can escape.”
He thought, “If Esau comes and attacks one group, the group that is left may escape.”
He thought, ‘If Esau comes and attacks one group, the group that is left may escape.’
And he said, “If Esau comes to the one company and attacks it, then the other company which is left will escape.”
For he said, “If Esau comes to the one group and destroys it, then the other group will get away.”
He thought, “If Esau meets one group and attacks it, perhaps the other group can escape.”
thinking, ‘If Esau comes to one company and destroys it, then the company that is left will escape.’
thinking, ‘If Esau comes to one company and destroys it, then the company that is left will escape.’
thinking, “If Esau comes to the one company and destroys it, then the company that is left will escape.”
thinking, “If Esau comes to the one company and destroys it, then the company that is left will escape.”
And said, If Esav come to the one machaneh, and attack it, then the other machaneh which is left shall escape.
thinking, “If Esau comes to the one company and destroys it, then the company which is left will escape.”
thinking, “If Esau comes to the one company and destroys it, then the company which is left will escape.”
So Jacob became extremely afraid and distressed. He divided the people with him, along with the flocks and herds and camels, into two camps,
thinking, “If Esau comes to one camp and crushes it, at least then the other might escape.”
He said, “If Esau comes to the one company, and strikes it, then the company which is left will escape.”
and he said, If Esau shall come to one company, and shall smite it, the other company which is left unsmitten, shall be saved. (and he said, If Esau shall come to one group, and shall strike them down, the other group which is left, shall be able to escape.)
and saith, `If Esau come in unto the one camp, and have smitten it -- then the camp which is left hath been for an escape.'
