Deuteronomy 20:12
Print
And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it.
And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
However, if it does not make peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall lay siege to it.
But if it refuses to make peace with you and fights against you, then you shall besiege it.
And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
However, if it does not make peace with you but wages war against you, lay siege to it.
However, if the city does not negotiate peacefully with you but makes war against you, you may attack it.
However, if they refuse to make peace with you but prefer to make war against you, you are to put it under siege.
Before you attack a town that is far from your land, offer peace to the people who live there. If they surrender and open their town gates, they will become your slaves. But if they reject your offer of peace and try to fight, surround their town and attack. Then, after the Lord helps you capture it, kill all the men. Take the women and children as slaves and keep the livestock and everything else of value.
And if it will not make peace with thee, but will make war with thee, then thou shalt besiege it;
But if they will not make peace, and shall begin war against thee, thou shalt besiege it.
But if the city refuses to make peace with you and fights against you, you should surround the city.
But they may refuse to agree. They may start to fight against you. If they do that, you must put your soldiers all around the city.
But if it does not make peace with you, and it makes war against you, then lay siege against it.
But if it makes no peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it.
But if it makes no peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it.
But if they do not make peace with you and fight you in battle, you should ·surround [besiege] that city.
But if it will make no peace with thee, but make war against thee, then shalt thou besiege it.
If they won’t accept your offer of peace but declare war on you, set up a blockade around the city.
But if the people of that city will not surrender, but choose to fight, surround it with your army.
However, if it does not make peace with you but wages war against you, lay siege to it.
But they might not make peace with you. They might fight you in battle. Then you should surround that city.
But if they refuse to make peace with you and instead choose war, then attack it.
And if it will make no peace with thee but will make war against thee, and if thou should besiege it,
And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
However, if it does not make peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it.
But if they do not accept your terms of peace and they want to make war with you, then you shall lay siege against it.
But if it refuses and won’t make peace with you, you must besiege it.
When you come up against a city to attack it, call out, “Peace?” If they answer, “Yes, peace!” and open the city to you, then everyone found there will be conscripted as forced laborers and work for you. But if they don’t settle for peace and insist on war, then go ahead and attack. God, your God, will give them to you. Kill all the men with your swords. But don’t kill the women and children and animals. Everything inside the town you can take as plunder for you to use and eat—God, your God, gives it to you. This is the way you deal with the distant towns, the towns that don’t belong to the nations at hand.
If it will not make peace with you but makes war against you, then you are to besiege it.
If they won’t accept your offer of peace but declare war on you, set up a blockade around the city.
But if it refuses to make peace with you and instead joins battle with you, lay siege to it,
However, if it does not make peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it.
However, if it does not make peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it.
If they refuse your terms of peace, then you will do battle with them, besieging that city.
But if they do not make peace with you and fight you in battle, you should surround that city.
If it does not accept terms of peace but makes war with you, then you are to lay siege to it.
But suppose they refuse your offer of peace and prepare for battle. Then surround that city. Get ready to attack it.
If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city.
If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city.
Now if the city will not make peace with you, but war against you, then you shall besiege it.
But if they do not make peace with you and fight against you, you must take the city in battle.
But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town.
If it does not submit to you peacefully, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it;
If it does not submit to you peacefully, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it;
If it does not submit to you peacefully, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it;
But if it does not accept your terms of peace and makes war against you, then you shall besiege it,
And if it will make no shalom with thee, but engages in milchamah against thee, then thou shalt besiege it;
But if it makes no peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it;
But if it makes no peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it;
If it does not make peace with you but makes war against you, then lay siege against that city.
But if the city doesn’t surrender, if it resists you instead, then lay siege to it.
If it will make no peace with you, but will make war against you, then you shall besiege it.
But if they will not make bond of peace with thee, and begin battle against thee, thou shalt fight against it. (But if they will not make peace with thee, but begin battle against thee, then thou shalt fight against them.)
`And if it doth not make peace with thee, and hath made with thee war, then thou hast laid siege against it,
