You forgot the eternal God who raised you; and you caused pain to Jerusalem, who nurtured you.
For you have forgotten God, who brought you up, and you have grieved Jerusalem that nursed you.
You forgot the Eternal God, who had nourished you as a child, and so you brought grief to Jerusalem, who had been like a mother to you.
You forgot the eternal God who nourished you, and you grieved Jerusalem who nurtured you.
You turned your back on the Everlasting who nourished you, and caused sorrow for Jerusalem who reared you.
You forgot the everlasting God, who brought you up, and you grieved Jerusalem, who reared you.
You forgot the everlasting God, who brought you up, and you grieved Jerusalem, who reared you.
