So the chief captain then let the young man depart and charged him, “See thou tell no man that thou hast revealed these things to me.”

So the commander let the young man leave, instructing him, “Do not tell anyone that you have given me this information.”
So the commandant sent the youth away, charging him, Do not disclose to anyone that you have given me this information.

The commander dismissed the young man, ordering him, “Don’t tell anyone that you brought this to my attention.”

The chiliarch then dismissed the youth, commanding [him], Utter to no one that thou hast represented these things to me.

The tribune therefore dismissed the young man, charging him that he should tell no man, that he had made known these things unto him.
