When this happened, a flame flared up on these stones. But it went out in the presence of the light shining from the altar.
Which being done, there was kindled a flame from them: but it was consumed by the light that shined from the altar.
Immediately a fire blazed up, but it was extinguished by a flame from the fire on the altar.
As soon as this was done, a flame blazed up, but its light was lost in the brilliance coming from the altar.
When this was done, a flame blazed up, but its light faded when confronted by the blazing light from the altar.
When this was done, a flame blazed up; but when the light from the altar shone back, it went out.
When this was done, a flame blazed up; but when the light from the altar shone back, it went out.
