2 Maccabees 13:7
In this manner the lawless Menelaus died. He didn’t receive a proper burial.
And by such a law it happened that Menelaus the transgressor of the law was put to death: not having so much as burial in the earth.
Menelaus was put to death in that way, without even having the privilege of a burial,
In such a manner was Menelaus, that transgressor of the law, fated to die, deprived even of burial.
Such was the fate suffered by Menelaus, the transgressor of the law, as he died without even being given the privilege of burial in the ground.
By such a fate it came about that Menelaus the lawbreaker died, without even burial in the earth.
By such a fate it came about that Menelaus the lawbreaker died, without even burial in the earth.
