Let us go, we pray thee, unto the Jordan, and take from thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there where we may dwell.” And he answered, “Go ye.”

Please allow us to go to the Yarden; each of us will collect a log there, and we’ll build a place there for us to live.” He answered, “Go ahead.”
Why don't we build a new meeting place near the Jordan River? Each of us could get some wood, then we could build it.” “That's a good idea,” Elisha replied, “get started.”

Let us go as far as the Jordan and take out of the wood every man a piece of timber, that we may build us there a place to dwell in. And he said: Go.
Let’s go to the Jordan River and cut some wood. Each of us will get a log and we will build us a place to live there.” Elisha answered, “Go and do it.”
We must go to the Jordan River to cut down some trees. Each one of us can bring back some wood to build a new place for us to meet in.’ Elisha agreed and he told them to go.
Let’s go to the Jordan, and every one of us will get a wooden beam from there so we can build a place there for us to live.” He said, “Go ahead.”

One day the seminary students came to Elisha and told him, “As you can see, our dormitory is too small. Tell us, as our president, whether we can build a new one down beside the Jordan River, where there are plenty of logs.” “All right,” he told them, “go ahead.”
One day the guild of prophets came to Elisha and said, “You can see that this place where we’re living under your leadership is getting cramped—we have no elbow room. Give us permission to go down to the Jordan where each of us will get a log. We’ll build a roomier place.” Elisha said, “Go ahead.”
Let us go to the Jordan and take from there one beam per man, and let us make for ourselves a place to live there.” And Elisha said, “Go.”
