2 Maccabees 10:27
After praying, they took up arms and moved out some distance from the city. They drew near to their enemies and then halted.
And so after prayer taking their arms, they went forth further from the city, and when they were come very near the enemies they rested.
When they had finished praying, they took up their weapons, went out a good distance from Jerusalem, and stopped for the night not far from the enemy.
After the prayer, they took up their weapons and advanced a considerable distance from the city, halting when they were close to the enemy.
And rising from their prayer they took up their arms and advanced a considerable distance from the city; and when they came near the enemy they halted.
