2 Corinthians 2:6
Sufficient to such a man is this censure, which was inflicted by many,
Sufficient to such a one is this punishment which was inflicted by the many;
For such a one this punishment by the majority is sufficient,
For such a one this censure by the majority [which he has received is] sufficient [punishment].
Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
The punishment handed out by the majority is enough for this person.
For such a person the punishment already imposed on him by the majority is sufficient,
Most of you have already pointed out the wrong that person did, and that is punishment enough for what was done.
Sufficient to such a one [is] this rebuke which [has been inflicted] by the many;
This punishment by the majority is sufficient for such a one,
To him who is such a one, this rebuke is sufficient, which is given by many:
The punishment that most of your group gave him is enough for him.
For such a one, this punishment by the majority is enough,
For such a one, this punishment by the majority is enough,
The punishment that ·most of you [the majority] gave him is enough for him [C the church as a whole has now sided with Paul and disciplined this individual].
It is sufficient unto the same man, that he was rebuked of many.
The majority of you have imposed a severe enough punishment on that person.
It is enough that this person has been punished in this way by most of you.
The punishment inflicted by the majority is sufficient for that person.
The punishment that most of you gave him is enough for him.
This punishment by the majority is severe enough for such a man.
There was a reason for my stern words; this is my advice now. If the behaviour of a certain person has caused distress, it does not mean so much that he has injured me, but that to some extent (I do not wish to exaggerate), he has injured all of you. But now I think that the punishment you have inflicted on him has been sufficient. Now is the time to offer him forgiveness and comfort, for it is possible for a man in his position to be completely overwhelmed by remorse. I ask you to show him plainly now that you love him. My previous letter was something of a test—I wanted to make sure that you would follow my orders implicitly. If you will forgive a certain person, rest assured that I forgive him too. Insofar as I had anything personally to forgive, I do forgive him, as before Christ. We don’t want Satan to win any victory here, and well we know his methods!
Sufficient to such a one is this reprehension, which was inflicted of many.
Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
This punishment by the majority is sufficient for such a person.
Remember that the man I wrote about, who caused all the trouble, has not caused sorrow to me as much as to all the rest of you—though I certainly have my share in it too. I don’t want to be harder on him than I should. He has been punished enough by your united disapproval.
Now, regarding the one who started all this—the person in question who caused all this pain—I want you to know that I am not the one injured in this as much as, with a few exceptions, all of you. So I don’t want to come down too hard. What the majority of you agreed to as punishment is punishment enough. Now is the time to forgive this man and help him back on his feet. If all you do is pour on the guilt, you could very well drown him in it. My counsel now is to pour on the love.
This punishment which was inflicted by many on such a man is sufficient.

The punishment inflicted on him by the majority is sufficient.

This blaming that is made of many, sufficeth to him, that is such one [that is such a manner man];
sufficient to such a one is this punishment, that [is] by the more part,
