He built a very strong army and ruled countries, nations, and princes; and they all owed allegiance to him.
And he gathered a power, and a very strong army: and his heart was exalted and lifted up.
By building up a strong army, he dominated whole nations and their rulers, and forced everyone to pay him taxes.
He collected a very strong army and won dominion over provinces, nations, and rulers, and they paid him tribute.
He recruited a very powerful army, and as provinces, nations, and rulers were conquered by him, they became his tributaries.
He gathered a very strong army and ruled over countries, nations, and princes, and they became tributary to him.
