1 Maccabees 15:4
I am going to come to the country so that I can move against the people who have destroyed our country and devastated many cities in my kingdom.
And I design to go through the country that I may take revenge of them that have destroyed our country, and that have made many cities desolate in my realm.
I plan to invade the land and to attack those who have destroyed many of the towns and ruined the country.
I intend to make a landing in the country so that I may take revenge on those who have ruined our country and laid waste many cities in my kingdom.
