the whole crowd gathered together in the courtyard near the east gate of the temple.
the whole multitude gathered with one accord in the open square before the east gate of the temple;
the whole multitude gathered with one accord in the open square before the east gate of the temple;
the whole multitude gathered with one accord into the open square before the east gate of the temple;
And all the multitude gathered together in the floor (or in the open space), that is from the east of the hallowed [or the sacred] gate.
