1 Corinthians 11:29
Print
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
For he that eateth and drinketh, eateth and drinketh judgment unto himself, if he discern not the body.
For anyone who eats and drinks [without solemn reverence and heartfelt gratitude for the sacrifice of Christ], eats and drinks a judgment on himself if he does not recognize the body [of Christ].
For anyone who eats and drinks without discriminating and recognizing with due appreciation that [it is Christ’s] body, eats and drinks a sentence (a verdict of judgment) upon himself.
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.
Those who eat and drink without correctly understanding the body are eating and drinking their own judgment.
for a person who eats and drinks without recognizing the body eats and drinks judgment upon himself.
If you fail to understand that you are the body of the Lord, you will condemn yourselves by the way you eat and drink.
For [the] eater and drinker eats and drinks judgment to himself, not distinguishing the body.
For the one eating and drinking while not rightly-judging the body is eating and drinking judgment on himself.
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord.
If you eat and drink without paying attention to those who are the Lord’s body, your eating and drinking will cause you to be judged guilty.
They must understand how important the Lord's body is. If anyone does not recognize this, God will punish them.
For if anyone eats and drinks in an unworthy way because he does not recognize the Lord’s body, he eats and drinks judgment on himself.
For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.
For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgement on himself.
because all who eat the bread and drink the cup without ·recognizing [discerning; careful regard for] the body eat and drink judgment against themselves.
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh his own damnation, because he discerneth not the Lord’s body.
Anyone who eats and drinks is eating and drinking a judgment against himself when he doesn’t recognize the Lord’s body.
For if you do not recognize the meaning of the Lord's body when you eat the bread and drink from the cup, you bring judgment on yourself as you eat and drink.
For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.
If someone eats the bread and drinks the cup without recognizing the body, then he is judged guilty by eating and drinking.
because whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.
No, a man should thoroughly examine himself, and only then should he eat the bread or drink of the cup. He that eats and drinks carelessly is eating and drinking a judgment on himself, for he is blind to the presence of the Lord’s body.
For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly.
For the one who eats and drinks, if he does not recognize the body, eats and drinks judgment against himself.
For if he eats the bread and drinks from the cup unworthily, not thinking about the body of Christ and what it means, he is eating and drinking God’s judgment upon himself; for he is trifling with the death of Christ.
If you give no thought (or worse, don’t care) about the broken body of the Master when you eat and drink, you’re running the risk of serious consequences. That’s why so many of you even now are listless and sick, and others have gone to an early grave. If we get this straight now, we won’t have to be straightened out later on. Better to be confronted by the Master now than to face a fiery confrontation later.
For he who eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
For the one who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.
Anyone who eats and drinks is eating and drinking a judgment against himself when he doesn’t recognize the Lord’s body.
For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.
For the one who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not properly recognize the body.
For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly.
For a person who eats and drinks without discerning the body of the Lord is eating and drinking judgment on himself.
because all who eat the bread and drink the cup without recognizing the body eat and drink judgment against themselves.
For the one who eats and drinks without careful regard for the body eats and drinks judgment against himself.
Whoever eats and drinks must recognize the body of Christ. If they don’t, judgment will come upon them.
For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.
For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.
For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
Anyone who eats the bread and drinks from the cup, if his spirit is not right with the Lord, will be guilty as he eats and drinks. He does not understand the meaning of the Lord’s body.
For if you eat the bread or drink the cup without honoring the body of Christ, you are eating and drinking God’s judgment upon yourself.
For he who eats or drinks unworthily, eats and drinks his own damnation, because he does not discern the Lord’s body.
For all who eat and drink without discerning the body, eat and drink judgement against themselves.
For all who eat and drink without discerning the body, eat and drink judgement against themselves.
For all who eat and drink without discerning the body, eat and drink judgment against themselves.
For all who eat and drink without discerning the body eat and drink judgment against themselves.
You see, if you eat and drink without recognizing the body, you eat and drink judgment on yourself.
For the one eating and drinking is the one eating and drinking mishpat to himself when not discerning the basar (body).
For whoever eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks his own damnation, not discerning the Lord’s body.
For any one who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment upon himself.
For any one who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment upon himself.
For the one who eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.
because otherwise, if you eat and drink without properly discerning the significance of the Lord’s body, then you eat and drink a mouthful of judgment upon yourself.
For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy way eats and drinks judgment to himself if he doesn’t discern the Lord’s body.
The person who eats and drinks in a wrong way will be punished. He does not take it as the Lord's body.
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh doom to him[self] [eateth and drinketh doom, or damnation, to himself], not wisely deeming the body of the Lord.
for he who is eating and drinking unworthily, judgment to himself he doth eat and drink -- not discerning the body of the Lord.
