And David came to Saul and stood before him; and he loved him greatly, and he became his armorbearer.

That is how David came to Saul and entered his service. Saul liked David very much, and David became his armor-bearer.
David came to Sha’ul and presented himself to him. Sha’ul took a great liking to him and made him his armor-bearer.
David went to Saul and started working for him. Saul liked him so much that he put David in charge of carrying his weapons.
And David came to Saul, and stood before him; and he loved him greatly; and he became his armour-bearer.
And David came to Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him exceedingly, and made him his armourbearer.
So David went to Saul and stood in front of him. Saul loved David very much. David became the helper who carried Saul’s weapons.
David went to Saul. He became Saul's servant. Saul loved David. David carried Saul's armour for him.
David came to Saul and stood before him. Saul loved him, and David became his armor bearer.
And David came to Saul and entered his service. And Saul loved him greatly, and he became his armor-bearer.

Jesse took a donkey, loaded it with a couple of loaves of bread, a flask of wine, and a young goat, and sent his son David with it to Saul. David came to Saul and stood before him. Saul liked him immediately and made him his right-hand man.
