1 Maccabees 9:8

He felt weak, but he said to those who stayed, “Let’s get up and move against our enemies. We may be able to fight them.”
Then he said to them that remained: Let us arise, and go against our enemies, if we may be able to fight against them.
He was discouraged, but he said to those who were still with him, Let's prepare for the attack; maybe we can still defeat them.
In spite of his discouragement he said to those who remained: “Let us go forward to meet our enemies; perhaps we can put up a good fight against them.”
But despite being disheartened, he said to those who remained, “Let us rise up and advance against the enemy. We may have sufficient strength to defeat them.”
He became faint, but he said to those who were left, ‘Let us get up and go against our enemies. We may have the strength to fight them.’

And he said to these that were residue, Rise we, and go we to our adversaries, if we shall be able to fight against them.
