1 Thessalonians 2:1
For you yourselves, brethren, know that our coming among you was not in vain.
For yourselves, brethren, know our entering in unto you, that it hath not been found vain:
For you know, brothers and sisters, that our coming to you has not been ineffective (fruitless, in vain),
For you yourselves know, brethren, that our coming among you was not useless and fruitless.
For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
As you yourselves know, brothers and sisters, our visit with you wasn’t a waste of time.
You yourselves know, brothers, that our visit to you was not fruitless.
My friends, you know that our time with you wasn’t wasted.
For ye know yourselves, brethren, our entering in which [we had] to you, that it has not been in vain;
For you yourselves know our entrance to you, brothers— that it has not been empty.
For yourselves know, brethren, our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
Brothers and sisters, you know that our visit to you was not a failure.
For you yourselves know, brothers, that our coming to you was not in vain.
For you yourselves know, brothers, that our coming to you was not in vain.
Brothers and sisters, you ·know [yourselves know; are well aware that] our ·visit [coming] to you was not ·a failure [without results; in vain; Acts 17:1–9].
1 He declareth how faithfully he preacheth the Gospel unto them, 5 seeking neither gain, 6 nor praise of men:  10 and he proveth the same by their own testimony:  14 that they did courageously bear persecution of their countrymen: 17 that he desireth very much to see them. For ye yourselves know, brethren, that our entrance in unto you was not in vain,
You know, brothers and sisters, that our time with you was not wasted.
Our friends, you yourselves know that our visit to you was not a failure.
For you yourselves know, brothers, that our visit with you was not without result.
Brothers, you know that our visit to you was not a failure.
For you yourselves know, brothers, that our visit to you was not a waste of time.
My brothers, you know from your own experience that our visit to you was no failure. We had, as you also know, been treated abominably at Philippi, and we came on to you only because God gave us courage. We came to tell you the Gospel, whatever the opposition might be.
¶ For you yourselves, brethren, know that our entrance unto you was not vain,
For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
For you yourselves know, brothers, our reception with you, that it was not in vain,
You yourselves know, dear brothers, how worthwhile that visit was.
So, friends, it’s obvious that our visit to you was no waste of time. We had just been given rough treatment in Philippi, as you know, but that didn’t slow us down. We were sure of ourselves in God, and went right ahead and said our piece, presenting God’s Message to you, defiant of the opposition.
You yourselves know, brothers, that our visit to you was not in vain.
For you yourselves know, brothers, that · our coming · to you was not in vain.
You know, brothers and sisters, that our time with you was not wasted.
For you yourselves know, brothers, that our reception among you was not without effect.
For you yourselves know, brethren, that our coming to you was not in vain,
Brothers and sisters, you know our visit to you was not a failure.
For you yourselves know, brothers and sisters, about our coming to you—it has not proven to be purposeless.
Brothers and sisters, you know that our visit to you produced results.
You know, brothers and sisters, that our visit to you was not without results.
You know, brothers and sisters, that our visit to you was not without results.
For you yourselves know, brethren, that our coming to you was not in vain.
Christian brothers, you know that my visit with you was not wasted.
You yourselves know, dear brothers and sisters, that our visit to you was not a failure.
You yourselves know, brothers and sisters, that our coming to you was not in vain,
You yourselves know, brothers and sisters, that our coming to you was not in vain,
You yourselves know, brothers and sisters, that our coming to you was not in vain,
You yourselves know, brothers and sisters, that our coming to you was not in vain,
For you yourselves know, my dear family, that our visit to you didn’t turn out to be empty.
But you yourselves know, Chaverim b’Moshiach, that our initial reception with you was not empty of result.
For you yourselves know, brethren, that our visit to you was not in vain;
For you yourselves know, brethren, that our visit to you was not in vain;
For you yourselves know, brothers and sisters, that our visit to you was not in vain.
Brothers and sisters, you yourselves know that our coming to you was not a waste of time.
For you yourselves know, brothers, our visit to you wasn’t in vain,
My brothers, you yourselves know that our visit to you was not for nothing.
For, brethren, ye know our entry to you, for it was not vain;
For yourselves have known, brethren, our entrance in unto you, that it did not become vain,
