and Saul cast the javelin, for he said, “I will smite David even to the wall with it.” And David escaped out of his presence twice.
and Saul cast the spear; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall. And David avoided out of his presence twice.
Saul hurled the spear, for he thought, “I will pin David to the wall.” But David evaded him twice.
And Saul cast the javelin, for he thought, I will pin David to the wall. And David evaded him twice.
And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall with it. And David avoided out of his presence twice.
and he threw it, thinking, “I’ll pin David to the wall.” But David got away from him twice.
and he threw it, thinking, I’ll pin David to the wall. But David escaped from him two different times.
and he threw the spear, thinking, “I will pin David to the wall!” But David dodged out of the way twice.
Saul thought, “I'll pin David to the wall.” He threw the spear at David twice, but David dodged and got away both times.
And Saul cast the spear, and thought, I will smite David and the wall. But David turned away from him twice.
And threw it, thinking to nail David to the wall: and David stept aside out of his presence twice.
but Saul had a spear in his hand. He thought, “I’ll pin David to the wall.” Saul threw the spear twice, but David jumped out of the way both times.
He threw the spear at David. He thought, ‘I will hit David so that it fixes him to the wall.’ He tried to do this twice, but David moved out of the way.
He hurled the spear, because he thought, “I will pin David to the wall!” But David escaped from his presence twice.
And Saul hurled the spear, for he thought, “I will pin David to the wall.” But David evaded him twice.
And Saul hurled the spear, for he thought, “I will pin David to the wall.” But David evaded him twice.
Saul threw the spear, thinking, “I’ll pin David to the wall.” But David ·escaped from [eluded] him twice.
And Saul took the spear, and said, I will smite David through to the wall. But David avoided twice out of his presence.
He raised the spear and thought, “I’ll nail David to the wall.” But David got away from him twice.
“I'll pin him to the wall,” Saul said to himself, and he threw the spear at him twice; but David dodged each time.
and he threw it, thinking, “I’ll pin David to the wall.” But David got away from him twice.
He raised the spear and thought, “I’ll pin David to the wall.” But David got away from him two times.

suddenly hurled it at David, intending to pin him to the wall. But David jumped aside and escaped. This happened another time, too, for Saul was afraid of him and jealous because the Lord had left him and was now with David.
The next day an ugly mood was sent by God to afflict Saul, who became quite beside himself, raving. David played his harp, as he usually did at such times. Saul had a spear in his hand. Suddenly Saul threw the spear, thinking, “I’ll nail David to the wall.” David ducked, and the spear missed. This happened twice.
And Saul threw the spear. For he said, “I will pin David to the wall.” But David avoided him two times.
He raised the spear and thought, “I’ll nail David to the wall.” But David got away from him twice.
Saul poised the spear, thinking, “I will nail David to the wall!” But twice David escaped him.
Then Saul hurled the spear, for he thought, “I will pin David to the wall.” But David escaped from his presence, twice.
Saul hurled the spear for he thought, “I will pin David to the wall.” But David escaped from his presence twice.
Saul cast the javelin, saying to himself, “I will pin David to the wall,” but David eluded him twice.

He threw it at David. As he did, he said to himself, “I’ll pin David to the wall.” But David got away from him twice.
and he hurled it, saying to himself, “I’ll pin David to the wall.” But David eluded him twice.
and he hurled it, saying to himself, ‘I’ll pin David to the wall.’ But David eluded him twice.
And Saul cast the spear, for he said, “I will pin David to the wall!” But David escaped his presence twice.
and he threw the spear, thinking, “I will nail David to the wall.” But David jumped out of his way twice.
and he suddenly hurled it at David, intending to pin him to the wall. But David escaped him twice.
and Saul threw the spear, for he thought, ‘I will pin David to the wall.’ But David eluded him twice.
and Saul threw the spear, for he thought, ‘I will pin David to the wall.’ But David eluded him twice.
and Saul threw the spear, for he thought, “I will pin David to the wall.” But David eluded him twice.

And Sha’ul hurled the khanit; for he said, I will pin Dovid even to the wall with it. And Dovid escaped his presence twice.
and Saul cast the spear, for he thought, “I will pin David to the wall.” But David evaded him twice.
and Saul cast the spear, for he thought, “I will pin David to the wall.” But David evaded him twice.
and Saul hurled the spear, thinking, “I’ll pin David to the wall!” But David eluded him—twice.
and decided to throw it at David, thinking, “I will pin him to the wall.” But David twice escaped Saul’s angry attacks.
and Saul threw the spear, for he said, “I will pin David to the wall!” David escaped from his presence twice.
and (then he) cast it, and guessed that he might preen David with the wall, that is, pierce (right through him) with the spear, so that it should pass into the wall; and David bowed [aside] from his face the second time (and twice David veered away from the spear that Saul threw at him).
and Saul casteth the javelin, and saith, `I smite through David, even through the wall;' and David turneth round out of his presence twice.
