and the forces did so. All that day and night he fought against the town, and it was handed over to him.
And the men of the army drew near, and he assaulted that city all the day, and all the night, and the city was delivered into his hands:
The fighting men were ordered to take up their positions and attack the town. They fought all day and all night, until they had taken it.
When the men of the army took up their positions, he assaulted the city all that day and night, and it was delivered into his hand.
