And the Lord said unto David my father, ‘Whereas it was in thine heart to build a house unto My name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.
But Jehovah said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thy heart to build a house for my name, thou didst well that it was in thy heart:
But the Lord said to my father David, ‘Because it was in your heart to build a house for My Name, you did well, in that it was in your heart.
And the Lord said to David my father, Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for My Name, you did well that it was in your heart.
And the Lord said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.
“But the Lord said to my father David, ‘It is very good that you thought to build a temple for my name.
but Adonai said to David my father, ‘Although it was in your heart to build a house for my name, and you did well that it was in your heart,
the Lord said, “It’s good that you want to build a temple where I can be worshiped.
But Jehovah said to David my father, Whereas it was in thy heart to build a house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thy heart;
And the Lord said to David my father: Whereas thou hast thought in thy heart to build a house to my name, thou hast done well in having this same thing in thy mind.
But the Lord said to my father, ‘I know that you want very much to build a temple to honor me, and it is good that you want to build it.
But the Lord said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.
But the Lord said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.
But the Lord said to my father David, ‘It was good that you ·wanted [L had it in your heart/mind] to build a ·temple [L house] for me.
And the Lord said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my Name, thou didst well, that thou wast so minded:
However, the Lord said to my father David, ‘Since you had your heart set on building a temple for my name, your intentions were good.
but the Lord said to him, ‘You were right in wanting to build a temple for me,
But the Lord said to my father David, “Since it was your desire to build a temple for My name, you have done well to have this desire.
But the Lord said to my father David, ‘I know you want to build a temple for worshiping me. And this is good.
The Lord told my father David: ‘Therefore, since you determined to build a temple for my name, you acted well, because it was your choice to do so.
But the LORD said unto David, my father, Whereas it was in thy heart to build a house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thy heart;
And the Lord said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.
And the Lord said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.
but Yahweh said to David my father, ‘Because you desired to build a house for my name, you did well in that it was within your heart.
but the Lord told him not to. ‘I am glad you want to do it,’ he said,
“My father David had it in his heart to build a Temple honoring the Name of God, the God of Israel. But God told him ‘It was good that you wanted to build a Temple in my honor—most commendable! But you are not the one to do it—your son will build it to honor my Name.’
The Lord said to my father David, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for My name, you had good intentions.
However, Yahweh said to my father David, ‘Since you had your heart set on building a temple for my name, your intentions were good.
the Lord said to him: In wishing to build a house for my name, you did well.
But the Lord said to my father David, ‘Because it was in your heart to build a house for My name, you did well that it was in your heart.
But the Lord said to my father David, ‘It was good that you wanted to build a temple for me.
The Lord told my father David, ‘It is right for you to have a strong desire to build a temple to honor me.
But the Lord spoke to my father David. He said, ‘With all your heart you wanted to build a temple for my Name. It is good that you wanted to do that.
But the Lord said to my father David, ‘You did well to have it in your heart to build a temple for my Name.
But the Lord said to my father David, “You did well to have it in your heart to build a temple for my Name.
But the Lord said to my father David, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a temple for My name, you did well that it was in your heart.
But the Lord said to my father David, ‘Because it was in your heart to build a house for My name, you did well that it was in your heart.
But the Lord told him, ‘You wanted to build the Temple to honor my name. Your intention is good,
But the Lord said to my father David, ‘You did well to consider building a house for my name;
But the Lord said to my father David, “You did well to consider building a house for my name;
But the Lord said to my father David, “You did well to consider building a house for my name;
But the Lord said to my father David, ‘You did well to consider building a house for my name;
And Hashem said unto Dovid Avi, Whereas it was in thine lev to build a Beis unto Shemi, thou didst well that it was in thine lev.
But the Lord said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart;
But the Lord said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart;
But Adonai said to my father David: ‘Because it was in your heart to build a House for My Name, you did well that it was in your heart.
but He told my father, David, “It was good enough that this desire was in your heart to build such a temple for My name.
But Yahweh said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.
And the Lord said to David, my father, That thou thoughtest in thine heart to build an house to my name, thou didest well, treating (also) this same thing in thy soul; (And the Lord said to my father David, That thou desiredest in thy heart to build a House in honour of my name, thou didest well, treating this in thy soul, that is, taking it to heart;)
and Jehovah saith unto David my father, Because that it hath been with thy heart to build a house for My name, thou hast done well that it hath been with thy heart;
