Now the men diligently observed whether any thing would come from him, and hastily caught it; and they said, “Thy brother Benhadad.” Then he said, “Go ye, bring him.” Then Benhadad came forth to him; and he caused him to come up into the chariot.

Now the men took it as a good omen, and quickly understanding his meaning said, “Yes, your brother Ben-hadad lives.” Then the king said, “Go, bring him.” Then Ben-hadad came out to him, and Ahab had him come up into the chariot.
Now the men took it as an omen and they hastily took it up and said, Yes, your brother Ben-hadad. Then the king said, Go, bring him. Then Ben-hadad came forth to him, and the victorious king caused him to come up into the chariot.

Now the men were looking for a sign of hope, so they quickly picked up on this and responded, “Yes, it is your brother Ben-hadad.” Then he said, “Go and bring him.” So Ben-hadad came out to him, and Ahab had him come up into the chariot.
Taking this as a good sign, Ben-hadad’s men quickly accepted this statement. “Yes, Ben-hadad is your brother!” they said. “Go and get him,” the king ordered. So Ben-hadad came to him, and the king received him into his chariot.
The men took this as a promising indication and seized on it to say, “Yes, Ben-Hadad is your brother.” Then Ach’av said, “Go, and bring him here.” Ben-Hadad went out to him, and Ach’av had him climb up into his chariot.
Benhadad's officials were trying to figure out what Ahab was thinking, and when he said “brother,” they quickly replied, “You're right! You and Benhadad are like brothers.” “Go get him,” Ahab said. When Benhadad came out, Ahab had him climb up into his chariot.
And the men took it as a good omen, and hastened to catch what came from him, and they said, Thy brother Ben-Hadad. … And he said, Go, bring him. And Ben-Hadad came forth to him; and he caused him to come up into the chariot.
The men took this for a sign: and in haste caught the word out of his mouth, and said: Thy brother Benadad. And he said to them: Go, and bring him to me. Then Benadad came out to him, and he lifted him up into his chariot.
Ben-Hadad’s men wanted King Ahab to say something to show that he would not kill King Ben-Hadad. When Ahab called Ben-Hadad his brother, the advisors quickly said, “Yes! Ben-Hadad is your brother.” Ahab said, “Bring him to me.” So Ben-Hadad came to King Ahab. King Ahab asked him to get in the chariot with him.
When Ben-Hadad's men heard this, they thought that it was a friendly answer. So they quickly agreed, ‘Yes! Ben-Hadad is like your own brother.’ King Ahab said, ‘Go and fetch him.’ So Ben-Hadad came out from Aphek city. Ahab took him up into his chariot.
The men took this as a good omen, so they quickly latched on to what he said and responded, “Ben Hadad is your brother.” Then Ahab said, “Go get him.” So Ben Hadad came out to him, and Ahab brought him up into his chariot.
Now the men were watching for a sign, and they quickly took it up from him and said, “Yes, your brother Ben-hadad.” Then he said, “Go and bring him.” Then Ben-hadad came out to him, and he caused him to come up into the chariot.

Ben-Hadad’s men ·had wanted a sign from Ahab [took this as a good sign]. They quickly ·caught [picked up on] his word, “Yes! Ben-Hadad is your brother.” Ahab said, “Bring him to me.” When Ben-Hadad came, Ahab asked him to join him in the chariot.
Now the men took diligent heed, if they could catch anything of him, and made haste, and said, Thy brother Ben-Hadad. And he said, Go, bring him. So Ben-Hadad came out unto him, and he caused him to come up into the chariot.
The men, watching for a good sign, were quick to take him at his word. “Benhadad is your brother,” they said. Ahab said, “Bring him here.” When Benhadad arrived, Ahab had him come up on the chariot with him.

Now Ben-Hadad’s men had wanted a sign from Ahab. They wanted to know he would not kill Ben-Hadad. So when Ahab called Ben-Hadad his brother, they quickly said, “Yes! Ben-Hadad is your brother.” Ahab said, “Bring him to me.” When Ben-Hadad came, Ahab asked him to join him in the chariot.
Ben-hadad’s advisors, quickly analyzing the signs in what Ahab was saying, responded, “Yes, your brother Ben-hadad.” “Go get him,” Ahab responded. So Ben-hadad came out to him, and Ahab took him up into his personal chariot.
Now these men took this as a good omen and quickly took this word from his mouth, and they said, Thy brother Benhadad! And he said, Go ye, bring him. Then Benhadad came forth to him, and he caused him to come up into the chariot.

The men were quick to grab this straw of hope and hurried to clinch the matter by exclaiming, “Yes, your brother Ben-hadad!” “Go and get him,” the king of Israel told them. And when Ben-hadad arrived, he invited him up into his chariot!
The men took this as a good sign and concluded that everything was going to be all right: “Ben-Hadad is most certainly your brother!” The king said, “Go and get him.” They went and brought him back by chariot.
Now the men were diligently looking for a positive sign and quickly took hold of it, and they said, “Your brother Ben-Hadad!” Then he said, “Go. You bring him.” Then Ben-Hadad came to him and got into the chariot.
The men, watching for a good sign, were quick to take him at his word. “Benhadad is your brother,” they said. Ahab said, “Bring him here.” When Benhadad arrived, Ahab had him come up on the chariot with him.

Ben-Hadad’s men had wanted a sign from Ahab. So when Ahab called Ben-Hadad his brother, they quickly said, “Yes! Ben-Hadad is your brother.” Ahab said, “Bring him to me.” When Ben-Hadad came, Ahab asked him to join him in the chariot.

The men thought that was good news. So they quickly used the word Ahab had used. “Yes! Your friend Ben-Hadad!” they said. “Go and get him,” the king said. Ben-Hadad came out of the secret room. Then Ahab had him get into his chariot.

Now the men were watching for something special to happen. They were quick to catch his word, and said, “Yes, your brother Ben-hadad.” Then Ahab said, “Go and bring him.” So Ben-hadad came out to him, and Ahab took him up into the war-wagon.
The men took this as a good sign and quickly picked up on his words. “Yes,” they said, “your brother Ben-hadad!” “Go and get him,” the king of Israel told them. And when Ben-hadad arrived, Ahab invited him up into his chariot.

The servants watched carefully and perceived this to be a sign, and they replied with surprise. Ben-hadad’s Servants: Yes, that’s right. Your brother, Ben-hadad. Ahab: Bring Ben-hadad to me. Ben-hadad came out of the city to Israel’s king, and Ahab allowed him to come up into the royal chariot.
Now the men observed diligently, and hurried to take this phrase; and they said, “Your brother Ben Hadad.” Then he said, “Go, bring him.” Then Ben Hadad came out to him; and he caused him to come up into the chariot.
Which thing the men of Syria took for a gracious word, and they ravished hastily the word of his mouth (and they hastily took hold of the word of his mouth), and said, Thy brother Benhadad liveth. And Ahab said to them, Go ye, and bring ye him to me. Therefore Benhadad went out to him, and he raised up Benhadad into his chariot.
And the men observe diligently, and hasten, and catch it from him, and say, `Thy brother Ben-Hadad;' and he saith, `Go ye in, bring him;' and Ben-Hadad cometh out unto him, and he causeth him to come up on the chariot.
