And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the palace of the king’s house and burned the king’s house over himself with fire and died,

When Zimri saw that the city was taken, he went into the fortress of the king’s palace; and while inside, he set fire to the king’s palace and died,

When Zimri saw that the city was captured, he entered the citadel of the royal palace and burned it down over himself. He died
When Zimri saw that the city was captured, he went into the fort of the royal palace and burned it down on top of himself. So he died.

When Zimri saw the city had been captured, he ran to the palace fortress, but the soldiers burned it down with him still in it.
Zimri saw that Omri had taken power over the city. So he went into the strong buildings of the king's palace. He lit a fire to burn the palace all around him. Zimri himself died in the fire.

When Zimri saw that the city had been taken, he went into the palace and burned it over him and died in the flames.
Zimri was king in Tirzah for all of seven days during the twenty-seventh year of the reign of Asa king of Judah. The Israelite army was on maneuvers near the Philistine town of Gibbethon at the time. When they got the report, “Zimri has conspired against the king and killed him,” right there in the camp they made Omri, commander of the army, king. Omri and the army immediately left Gibbethon and attacked Tirzah. When Zimri saw that he was surrounded and as good as dead, he entered the palace citadel, set the place on fire, and died. It was a fit end for his sins, for living a flagrantly evil life before God, walking in the footsteps of Jeroboam, sinning and then dragging Israel into his sins.

When Zimri perceived that the city had been taken over, he panicked and ran into the highest fortress in the king’s house and set fire to the house around him. He burned himself alive in the house

And it cometh to pass, at Zimri's seeing that the city hath been captured, that he cometh in unto a high place of the house of the king, and burneth over him the house of the king with fire, and dieth,
