And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.

The war that had broken out between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continued during the time that Abijam was king. Everything else Abijam did while he was king is written in The History of the Kings of Judah.
And there had been war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.
But there was war between Roboam and Jeroboam all the time of his life.
Rehoboam and Jeroboam were always fighting against each other.
Now there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.
Now there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.
There was war between ·Abijam and Jeroboam during Abijam’s lifetime.
And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam as long as he lived.

During Abijam’s reign there was constant war between Israel and Judah.
In the eighteenth year of the rule of Jeroboam son of Nebat, Abijah took over the throne of Judah. He ruled in Jerusalem three years. His mother was Maacah daughter of Absalom. He continued to sin just like his father before him. He was not truehearted to God as his great-grandfather David had been. But despite that, out of respect for David, his God graciously gave him a lamp, a son to follow him and keep Jerusalem secure. For David had lived an exemplary life before God all his days, not going off on his own in willful defiance of God’s clear directions (except for that time with Uriah the Hittite). But war continued between Abijah and Jeroboam the whole time.
The war begun between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continued all the days of his life.
There was war between Abijam and Rehoboam throughout their lives.
There was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all their days.
There was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.

Rehoboam and Jeroboam were continually at war with each other throughout Abijah’s lifetime.

Nevertheless battle was betwixt Abijam and Jeroboam, in all the time of his life. (And there was always battle between Rehoboam and Jeroboam, in all the time of Abijam’s life.)
