And the Lord stirred up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he was of the king’s seed in Edom.
And Jehovah raised up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the king’s seed in Edom.
Then the Lord stirred up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he was of royal descent in Edom.
The Lord stirred up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he was of royal descent in Edom.
¶ And the Lord stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the king’s seed in Edom.
So the Lord raised up an opponent for Solomon: Hadad the Edomite from the royal line of Edom.
Then Adonai raised up an adversary against Shlomo, Hadad the Edomi, of the royal line of Edom.
Hadad was from the royal family of Edom, and here is how the Lord made him Solomon’s enemy:
And Jehovah stirred up an adversary to Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he was of the king's seed in Edom.
And the Lord raised up an adversary to Solomon, Adad the Edomite of the king's seed, in Edom.
Then the Lord raised up Hadad the Edomite to become Solomon’s enemy. Hadad was from the royal family of Edom.
And the Lord raised up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite. He was of the royal house in Edom.
And the Lord raised up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite. He was of the royal house in Edom.
The Lord ·caused [L raised up] Hadad the Edomite, a member of the royal family of Edom, to become Solomon’s ·enemy [adversary].
¶ Then the Lord stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, even Hadad the Edomite, of the king’s seed, which was in Edom.
The Lord raised up Hadad the Edomite as a rival to Solomon. Hadad was from the Edomite royal family.
So the Lord caused Hadad, of the royal family of Edom, to turn against Solomon.
So the Lord raised up Hadad the Edomite as an enemy against Solomon. He was of the royal family in Edom.
Now Hadad was a member of the family of the king of Edom. And the Lord caused Hadad the Edomite to become Solomon’s enemy.
After this, the Lord allowed Hadad the Edomite to oppose Solomon. He was part of the royal line of Edom.
¶ And the LORD stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad, the Edomite; he was of the king’s seed in Edom.
And the Lord stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the king's seed in Edom.
And the Lord stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the king’s seed in Edom.
Then Yahweh raised an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite, from the descendants of that king in Edom.
So the Lord caused Hadad the Edomite to grow in power. And Solomon became apprehensive, for Hadad was a member of the royal family of Edom.
God incited Hadad, a descendant of the king of Edom, into hostile actions against Solomon. Years earlier, when David devastated Edom, Joab, commander of the army, on his way to bury the dead, massacred all the men of Edom. Joab and his army stayed there for six months, making sure they had killed every man in Edom. Hadad, just a boy at the time, had escaped with some of the Edomites who had worked for his father. Their escape route took them through Midian to Paran. They picked up some men in Paran and went on to Egypt and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, who gave Hadad a house, food, and even land. Pharaoh liked him so well that he gave him the sister of his wife, Queen Tahpenes, in marriage. She bore Hadad a son named Genubath who was raised like one of the royal family. Genubath grew up in the palace with Pharaoh’s children.
The Lord stirred up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite. He was a prince of Edom.
Yahweh raised up Hadad the Edomite as a rival to Solomon. Hadad was from the Edomite royal family.
The Lord then raised up an adversary against Solomon: Hadad the Edomite, who was of the royal line in Edom.
Then the Lord raised up an adversary to Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he was of the royal line in Edom.
The Lord caused Hadad the Edomite, a member of the family of the king of Edom, to become Solomon’s enemy.
The Lord brought against Solomon an enemy, Hadad the Edomite, a descendant of the Edomite king.
Then the Lord brought an enemy against Solomon. The enemy’s name was Hadad. He was from Edom. In fact, he belonged to the royal family of Edom.
Then the Lord raised up against Solomon an adversary, Hadad the Edomite, from the royal line of Edom.
Then the Lord raised up against Solomon an adversary, Hadad the Edomite, from the royal line of Edom.
Now the Lord raised up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he was a descendant of the king in Edom.
Then the Lord sent Hadad the Edomite to make trouble for Solomon. He was of the king’s family in Edom.
Then the Lord raised up Hadad the Edomite, a member of Edom’s royal family, to be Solomon’s adversary.
Then the Lord raised up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he was of the royal house in Edom.
Then the Lord raised up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he was of the royal house in Edom.
Then the Lord raised up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he was of the royal house in Edom.
Then the Lord raised up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he was of the royal house in Edom.
And Hashem raised up satan (adversary) unto Sh’lomo, Hadad HaAdomi; he was from the zera HaMelech in Edom.
And the Lord raised up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the E′domite; he was of the royal house in Edom.
And the Lord raised up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the E′domite; he was of the royal house in Edom.
Then Adonai raised up an adversary to Solomon, Hadad the Edomite, of the royal line in Edom.
The Eternal brought an enemy against him—Hadad the Edomite, who was a descendant of Edom’s king.
Yahweh raised up an adversary to Solomon: Hadad the Edomite. He was one of the king’s offspring in Edom.
Forsooth the Lord raised to Solomon an adversary, Hadad (the) Idumean, of the king’s seed, that was in Edom. (And the Lord raised up an adversary to Solomon, Hadad the Edomite, of the king’s descendants, who was in Edom, or Idumea.)
And Jehovah raiseth up an adversary to Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; of the seed of the king [is] he in Edom;
