1 John 5:17
All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not unto death.
All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death [one can repent of it and be forgiven].
All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin which does not [involve] death [that may be repented of and forgiven].
All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
Every unrighteous action is sin, but there is a sin that does not result in death.
All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that does not lead to death.
Everything that is wrong is sin, but not all sins are deadly.
Every unrighteousness is sin; and there is a sin not to death.
All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.
All iniquity is sin. And there is a sin unto death.
Doing wrong is always sin. But there is sin that does not lead to eternal death.
All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that does not lead to death.
All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that does not lead to death.
·Doing wrong is always sin [L All unrighteousness is sin], but there is sin that does not lead to ·eternal death [L death].
All unrighteousness is sin, but there is a sin not unto death.
Every kind of wrongdoing is sin, yet there are sins that don’t lead to death.
All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin which does not lead to death.
All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin that does not bring death.
Doing wrong is always sin. But there is sin that does not lead to eternal death.
Every kind of wrongdoing is sin, yet there are sins that do not lead to death.
If any of you should see his brother committing a sin (I don’t mean deliberately turning his back on God and embracing evil), he should pray to God for him and secure fresh life for the sinner. It is possible to commit sin that is a deliberate embracing of evil and that leads to spiritual death—that is not the sort of sin I have in mind when I recommend prayer for the sinner. Every failure to obey God’s laws is sin, of course, but there is sin that does not preclude repentance and forgiveness.
All unrighteousness is sin, but there is a sin not unto death.
All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not leading to death.)
Every wrong is a sin, of course. I’m not talking about these ordinary sins; I am speaking of that one that ends in death.
For instance, if we see a Christian believer sinning (clearly I’m not talking about those who make a practice of sin in a way that is “fatal,” leading to eternal death), we ask for God’s help and he gladly gives it, gives life to the sinner whose sin is not fatal. There is such a thing as a fatal sin, and I’m not urging you to pray about that. Everything we do wrong is sin, but not all sin is fatal.
All wrongdoing is sin, but there is a sin that does not lead to death.
